Introducing Die-namics from MFT!

Are you ready for the fun announcement from MFT? We've all been holding a big secret, and having a blast playing with some our new goodies.

Introducing Die-namics from MFT - you may have even seen samples from customers who received one as part of this month's VIP Kit! Die-namics are the brand new offering that we've been taunting the junkies with... exclusive, quality American Steel dies, and let me say, I'm loving playing with them! I have a few projects to share with you today, and I also put together a little demonstration video so you can see how they work! I'm sure you will see MANY previews from the girls on the team today. Be sure to check Kim's blog for a full link after 11 am today!

For those of you that are a more visual learner, I've done a quick product video showing what they look like, and some tips and tricks on how to work with them!

This month, there are three shapes for sale. The first one I worked with was the scallop, and I love that it is a wide, oval shaped scallop. You'll just love the variety of materials that you can add to your projects with Die-namics.

For my first sample, I reached for the cork that I picked up just last week. You'll be thrilled to know that Kim will now be carrying it so that you can add this new hot trendy item to your projects! Hooray!

I happened to already have some on hand, so I ran it through my Big Shot with a standard stack:
  • cutting platform
  • acrylic cutting pad
  • cork
  • Die-namics scallop (with grooves facing towards the cork...)
  • cutting pad

I also gave this same die a quick run with some fabric scrap that I have leftover from a sewing project. What an easy way to use up those too cute to toss scraps. Love the handmade charm of adding fabric to a papercrafting project!

Using that same stack, I ran through several scraps of fabric that I've had kicking around for another project. I used the same die, but this material gives such a soft and serene effect.

I diecut six pieces of fabric, for a total of six rows of scallops. I laid the layers out, alternating between the two patterns, and affixed the layers with a quick bit of scotch tape to anchor them in place... then quickly zipped it through my sewing machine.

Quick Tip: When using fabric, I recommend running your Die-namic die through your machine twice. This is just to ensure you get a fully clean cut. If you happen to have any individual threads still attached when you go to remove the die, be sure to cut them with scissors, don't pull or you'll put a big, yucky pull through your fabric.

Up next, I couldn't resist these sweet clouds, so I had to put them to work right away! I chose some snow white felt for some puffy clouds. I love that they come in a three pack, because really, you should use embellishments in odd increments. And, being fused together is perfect because you won't loose any of the pieces!

Because it took me two seconds to cut the clouds, I took a few extra moments to quickly stitch a hand sewn border around the clouds for a bit of whimsy. (The dies do not add that detail, that was me!)

If you're ready for even MORE previews of MFT Die-namics, be sure to check over at the MFT Blog today after 11am, also, you'll want to check out this gallery on Splitcoast.

Previews for the upcoming stamp release begin tomorrow!

TCP Tuesday - Oh, Pool Boy!!!

Welcome to this week's TCP Tuesday! I can't believe its back to being my turn to hostess again, that went FAST! This month has gone by in a total flash....

That being said, I'm really excited to see what the girls have worked up with this weeks color combination - red, turquoise and ivory. I also am still loving playing with cork from Amy's challenge last week, so I couldn't help but throw a little bit of that into my sample too!

I'm now officially on a big, mean diet. Between an upcoming beachy vacation with my husband, and a summer pool club membership with my two sons, I've got to get going on shedding that dreaded winter weight! My husband has all sorts of activities planned while we're on vacation, but me, I want at least a day or two by the pool, a good summer read, and an attentive pool boy on staff to keep my glass filled with something frozen and delicious....

I've used The Cat's Pajamas "By The Sea" and patterned paper from My Mind's Eye for my sample today. When I'm stamping a solid image, like Poochie or Sprinkle, I always use Brilliance Ink and then give a clear coat of embossing powder for a totally even coverage. I love that dark pop of black for miss Sprinkle.

Be sure to add your sample using this color combination to the guestbook on Alma's blog. You'll want to play along for your chance to be named the Swanky Stamper for the month - a sweet title that comes with $25 in Cat's Cash to spend at the TCP Site!! now, ffor those of you new to TCP Tuesday, or for those feeling rusty on the requirements here's the scoop....

1. Each a week one of The Cat’s Pajamas DT members will host a challenge.
2. The challenges will vary {stamp, techinque, color, theme, sketch, etc.}
3. You will have until the end of the month to complete the challenge.

7. Only designs posted to the guestbook will be considered for the Swanky Stamper.
8. The newly crowned Swanky Stamper will be announced on the First of the Month and have his/her winning entry posted on The Cat’s Pajamas website where he/she will reign for the entire month.

A Fabulous Couch Day

Good morning everyone!! I've really been looking forward to sharing today's post with you. I'm simply thrilled to have been invited to be a Guest Designer for a new challenge blog, The Shabby Tea Room.

Each week, the inspiration challenges have been truly luscious! And apparently everyone agrees because the challenges have been loaded with beautiful submissions!

This week, we were sent this beautiful photo, which I've been drooling over. I wish I could go so girly and light in my household, but being the mother of two boys, I'm totally outnumbered!

Immediately, I knew that my Girls Paperie paper was just right for the job, lots of quiltling on the paper, and so many gorgeous patterns.

Here's how my thought process went on this one....

Looks so cozy, makes me feel all snuggly. Like sitting with a cozy book (or sigh... an ipad...) on the sofa, with a warm cup of tea. And I reached for On My Couch, illustrated by my sweet friend Lisa Johnson. Since I was feeling bookish, I added a circular matting repeatedly stamped and then sponged with Text Style II, and I finished it off with a quick sentiment from Signature Greetings.

Cozy accents include some "crazy stitching" around the top half of the panel, a combination of vintage trim, twill tape, and jute twine. Its so rude to say, but I love this little card! *giggle*

I do SO hope that you'll pop on over to the Shabby Tea Room today to see what all the girls on the team came up with, and that you'll add your inspired creation to the challenge as well!

Thanks SO much for stopping by today. Me, I'm off to go see about that cup of tea.

A Pure Innocence Sweet Sunday Sketch....

I hope that you've all had a wonderful weekend! I've been trying to make up for having to work all through April vacation so we visited the Children's Museum in Boston this weekend, and then yesterday we had soccer, a parade and the opening baseball game of the season! Today we're heading off to the Apple Store to have my laptop looked at - and to play with the iPads. I'm obsessed.

I love the sketch that Karen sent to us this week. Although at this point, I'm realizing that I jumped in a bit here, and ran with it, not realizing that the sketch is more elongated, than my square here. Ugh. That's what I get for not printing the sketch and working a little bit more loosely.....

In any case, I recently picked up a (little) bit more of the My Minds Eye paper - Quite Contrary, and I knew I wanted to pair this cutie raindrop image with my "Pure Innocence Umbrella Girl". I've gotta pick up more ledger paper, its become a go-to accessory for me lately and I had to dig deep for this piece!

Please be sure to check out Karen's Sketch, and sample, and then pop around to visit all the girls today to see what they've got stamped up for you!

Jennifer Tapler
Karen Motz
Laura Fredrickson

Lynn Put

Nancy Riley

Sarah-Jane Kale
Vicki Burdick

Be sure to wish a very Happy Birthday to Vicki, Karen Giron and Sarah-Jane as they are all celebrating their birthday's today. How funny is that - what are the chances!?!

Color my world.....

How about a little tree project to celebrate Earth Day! If you've been reading here a while, you'll know that I'm more than a little obsessed with organic foods, and that we participate in a local CSA (Community Supported Agriculture - a.k.a. Crop Share) at a local family farm. We compost and are diligent recyclers and I love my reusable shopping bags! In fact, my son laughed that his April Vacation homework was to do something "green" for Earth Day and we were already doing all of the recommended things! Yeah!!

Now that MFT has released this new, adorable, digi patterned paper "Sheltering Tree", I can finally share with you the Make and Take that Kim and I made for a recent manufacturer's show.

We had so much fun making this (literally, about 75 times...) with store owners from all across the country!

We used the clear cellophane bags from MFT, and then used an oval nestie to diecut all those sweet skies. The rolling hills are hand cut, and the tree you'll recognize from Grow Love, Plant a Tree, which has been paper pieced using both the Green Polka Dot and Woodgrain Patterned Papers.

For fun, or maybe because I'm a meanie... you decide....we used embroidery floss to sew those buttons right in place.

The sentiment "You Color My World" is from Clearly Sentimental About You (currently out of stock or else I'd link....) I love, love, love, mixing and matching the Clearly Sentimental sets with all my other MFT sets for added versatility.

Wouldn't these be a cute little giftie to your neighbors for May Day? That is, if you can resist eating the candy.....

I also brought this little piece of home decor that I'd made to the show as well. I think I scared a few people away from our Make and Take because that we were making this, but it was just an example of the technique taken a bit farther. I love all the added detail of the embroidery floss...

You'll find all of MFT's Digi Papers here... they're easy to download, open and print as many sheets as you need. Or, if you don't have a color printer, you can simply upload and print to your local office store or bring in a little thumb drive. Easy peasy!

Okay peeps, now Happy Earth Day! Go recycle something!

A Sheltering Tree

Tonight the girls on the MFT Team have a doubly fun VIP Hop for you. Some of us have samples of the newest Who's That Girl on the block titled "Top Shelf" and some of us (myself included) have a sample for you of Stephanie Fizer's latest set...."Sheltering Tree."

If you've hopped over here from Jessie's place, then you're right where you should be. If you've just tripped into the hop, you'll want to start at Kim's Blog so that you don't miss any of the previews!

I wanted to do a quick and scrappy card today, showing how easy it is to work with the sheltering tree to make a fun little card. It is rare that I make a 15 minute card, but this was so fun (and, ahem easy!) to do!!!

I stamped the circular tree top first in a very light green ink, then stamped the tree directly over it. Colored the wood with my brown Copics and added pink little petals for the leaves (I'm obsessed with pink trees although they're just terrible for my son's seasonal allergies!)

Stamped the owlies separate, colored them and trimmed them right out and perched them right into the tree with a dimensional booster. Lastly, I added some felted clouds, and a quick hand trimmed grassy border. Bang! 15 minutes tops!! Love that!!

Your next stop on the hop is the sweet and incredibly talented Julie!

Getting Corked on Your Birthday

Welcome to another fun week of TCP Tuesday Challenges! Amy is our Hostess this week, and does she ever have a a hip challenge for us this week. "Get Corked!" I'm always thinking I need some (and then forgetting...) however, this weekend, I finally got my my act together!

Inspired by Amy, I reached for my Top Note die and created a large cork panel. Pattered papers are a mix of Cosmo Cricket The Boyfriend, and some of my new My Minds Eye paper that I'm in love with.

To celebrate my younger brother's 26th birthday, PJ the bear got corked, with a little tequilla shot! Its so fun to mix and match all my TCP Stamp sets. In this card I've got:

PJ from Happy Camper
Tequilla from Salud
Sentimets from Smells Like Cake

So what if the card didn't so much fit nicely in the envelope. Because really, he was too corked to notice anyways! Happy Birthday, little brother.

Please be sure to stop over and give a warm welcome to Sonja Christoph who is our newest Cat Pack Member. I'm always amazed by her gorgeous submissions and love that Alma's asked her to stick around. That Alma, she's such a smarty!

Speaking of which, don't forget to Get Corked and add your project to Alma's blog for your chance to get Swanky!

Dirty Dozen Alumni Challenge - April

Welcome to another Dirty Dozen and Dirty Dozen Alumni Challenge!! I think our hostess Kelly was out to get me this month, because the restricted element was buttons! YIKES!

Our required element, in celebration of Earth Day, was to use a recycled element on our project. Now, is it bad to say that if I'm using a stamp set a second time, that I'm considering re-using it? LOL? (That's just terrible...I am literally swimming in stamps in my studio) but really, I have also incorporated a twill tape scrap cast off from another project,as well as a little bit of denim.....I'm totally inspired by Susie on that one, just you wait to see what genius she's cooked up today!

I hope that you'll swing by this gallery on Splitcoast Stampers throughout the day to see samples from the current Dirty Dozen and the Dirty Dozen Alumnae.

While you're there, if you haven't already taken a gander, be sure to check out this month's Dirty Dozen gallery "Very Vintage" - I can tell you this.... you will not be disappointed!

Fun News - The Shabby Tea Room

No eye candy today, but I'm just dropping a quick note with some fun news! I'll be guest designing for the Shabby Tea Room Week #7. I'm busily working on my sample for the challenge, and I'll be able to share my sample, as well as the inspiration piece one week from today, Monday April 26! I'll just tease you with saying that its GORGEOUS and you'll have a blast! **giggle, so mean of me**

Till then, be sure to stop by the Shabby Tea Room to see this week's inspiration piece and play along!

A Dog-Gone Sweet Sunday Sketch

Its time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch - and I had such a fun time working on this card. I've been itchy to use this "Little Boy Blue" paper from the Quite Contrary line of My Mind's Eye.
And, shame on me that I hadn't yet inked up this sweet Pure Innocence Boy and His Dog image from My Favorite Things. Aren't they sweet?

While the traditional rule of thumb is not to use ribbon on a boy-ish card, I'm going out on a limb that twill tape is an acceptable use, right? Lots of olives, and blues, and I picked this rich chocolate scrap for a bit of apron lace trim (I know, I know, I can't back away from that thing...)

Hope that I won't get points deducted for adding a tiny little panel here for my sentiment "You're So Dog-Gone Cute." All I'll say is that sentiment treatments are my Achilles heel. I seriously struggle here. As such, quite often, I simply opt out of using one at all!

I'll probably be quiet on the blog this week, as both my boys are out of school for vacation, and my home daycare business will be packed! Which means that at the end of the day it will likely be a glass of wine, catching up on TiVo and early to bed instead of a cup of coffee and late night stampin' So, if you have some extra time this week, stamp a little extra for me? Okay?

Be sure to stop by Karen's Blog to see her sample, don't forget that you'll be uploading YOUR creation to her InLinks before Thursday at 10pm Mountain Time - one card will be selected at random to be featured on Karen's blog!

You'll find samples for this fun sketch from the girls on the Sweet Sunday team:

MFT's Greatest Hits

On a recent cleanup of my stamp area, I was thrilled (albeit stunned) to see exactly how many stamp sets I have. As I lovingly leafed through them all, I considered what a shame that I don't play with some of my favorites on a more regular basis.

So, together with many of my design team buddies on My Favorite Things, we're having fun, getting some of MFT's Greatest Hits inky!

I reached for one of my very favorites "Coffee? Tea?" and mixed it up with some of my new favorite paper My Mind's Eye Quite Contrary.

See, for me, that's the fun of bringing out some treasured favorites, they get to come to life with new paper. New favorite techniques. Fun stuff.

This month, for MFT's Greatest Hits, we're all showcasing sets from the original line, Who's That Girl. We've already chatted and have a fun lineup planned for next month too.

Now seriously, I hope that you'll reach into your favorites and get some MFT inky this week. Because, after all, you just never know when your creation will be spied for the regular Tuesday feature on the MFT Blog - Our Favorite Finds.

Be sure to head on over to Kim's Blog for a complete listing of all the designers participating today! In fact, I'm off to surf around to see all the Who's That Girl beauties that the girls have put together for you today!

Seeing Spots for our TCP Spring Release Hop

Tonight, we're celebrating the release of The Cat's Pajamas newest stamp sets, with a blog hop. If you didn't come here by way of Karrie's blog then you'll want to start up at Toni's place so that you don't miss any of the eye candy along the way!

By now, you've seen Toni's fun inspiration piece in mind for this week's challenge. I guess I strayed a "bit" far from the inspiration piece when I have to identify how my card works for the challenge. LOL!

But, you see, its all about the spots (and maybe a bit of creative license?) I've got spotted papers, spotted ribbon... you're nodding your head in agreement right? LOL!

I used Jen's fun Sketch For You To Try for my sample tonight, and lots of patterned papers from Cosmo Cricket (both the Boyfriend Stack, and Garden Variety too)

This is a new stamp set titled "Salud!"a sweet little mini set, just perfect if you ask me. I'm all for a little ladies night, a tasty rita with friends. Mine is colored with Prismacolor pencils, and then given a nice icy, sugary finish with the help of Diamond Glaze and of course, some Glitzy Glitter!

The next stop on tonight's hop is Amy and if I know one thing, it is that it will be totally amazing!

Don't forget to add YOUR creation to the guestbook on Alma's blog for your chance to get Swanky! Maybe you'll go literal with the inspiration piece, maybe you'll grab the color palette and run from there, maybe you'll just get spotted, but whatever it is, I can't wait to see it!

Got Stickies?

I like to add a lot of dimension on my projects, and Iike to add lots of layers. As you might imagine, I go through a LOT of dimensional boosters. And, because I like to do business with "friends" and help out where I can, I like to shop there first.

And let me say, I'm in LOVE with Jody's Boosters. I bought them first just because we were friends, but now, I'm addicted. I have to plan out when I think I'll run out, because the store bought pop dots just do not compare....I'm down to two sheets, and just placed my re-order. Jody to the rescue! Flat cards, well, that just won't do! LOL!

I have to say we used them at a recent tradeshow, and the store owners loved them. I used them in class the other and my girls loved them too... just sayin'

So, do yourself a favor, and grab some Sticky Stuff from my sweet (and oh so madly talented friend Jody.) You'll be treating yourself to a high quality dimensional booster for your projects, at an oustanding price, and of course, helping out a fellow crafter! In my humble opinion, you can't go wrong there

A Tiny and Sweet Sunday Sketch

This week, Karen has such a clean sketch lined up for us. And since I've been on a little handmade flower kick I thought I'd start there, instead of with a stamped flower.

I've been loving these glittery flowers that Jody has been using lately, so after making my hand rolled paper flowers, I painted them with Shimmerz, and I added a Glittered Garnish to the center of each of the blooms. Then I added a coat of diamond glaze, and sprinkled on some Glitzy Glitter.

Patterned paper is from My Minds Eye, Quite Contrary line, and everything is matted in Kraft - I am guessing that by now, that's not surprising to you? LOL!

The sentiment "So many dreams in such a little package." is from MFT's Clearly Sentimental About Babies. I stamped it with Brilliance ink, then added clear embossing powder and then zapped it. Two seconds, lots of extra detail.

Please be sure to hop around today to visit samples from all the girls on the Sweet Sunday Sketch team:
Have a wonderful day today! I'm hoping to squeeze in some just for fun stamping this afternoon. Wish me luck!

MFT's Shop Hop!

If you've just stumbled upon tonight's MFT Shop Hop, you'll want to start up at Kim's place (just a few stops...) because all the girls on the team have a little something special to share this evening.

All the goodies that we've been sharing all week - are now finally available for sale at MFT Stamps!

My card tonight uses one of my favorite quotes EVER about babies. This is from the new Triple Scoop set Clearly Sentimental About Babies.

If you're not familiar with the Triple Scoop, it means that this stamp set is free this month with the purchase of three stamp sets valued $15.95 or more. Otherwise, you won't be able to get your hands on it until it is released for sale next month! If you'd like to see the full details, you can read all about the Triple Scoop program here...

I went for a shabby look here complete with a handmade, rolled paper flower. They are fun fun fun to make, and might I add, completely addictive. I will say that with the addition of this flower however, that this card would NOT fit inside an envelope. It would have to be boxed. LOL!

Your next stop on tonight's blog hop is Megan if I know one thing, it is that she'll have something full of CUTENESS to share with you in just a minute. I'll race you!!

MFT Previews: Clearly Sentimental

I know I've mentioned before, but I am in love with the new Clearly Sentimental line from MFT. They have very quickly, become a staple in my cardmaking.

Today, the team is sharing previews of this month's Triple Scoop Set "Clearly Sentimental About Babies." It is free with the purchase of three sets valued $15.99 or more!

I'm having a lot of fun with clean and simple type cards lately, playing with my (huge) stash of paper, ribbon and buttons. I've stamped the sentiment here with Brilliance Ink, then embossed with clear embossing powder for an added detail. Then I popped the diecut back into the nestie, and added a soft sponging of Tea Dye ink for a little warmth.

All the new goodies will be available for sale tonight beginning at 9pm for the Tub Lovin' Club and for general release at 10pm EST. You'll also find Kim and lots of us on the DT chatting it up tonight on the MFT Member Company Forum. Be sure to stop by for previews, giveaways and of course, lots of fun chatter! You'll find the thread here!

Be sure to hop on back for the Shop Hop at 10 PM est - we'll each be working with different sets, so you'll be assured eye candy of every variety! You won't want to miss it!

A Doubly Sketchy TCP Tuesday.....

For a change, I'm right on time with my TCP Tuesday post this week. Groan, I can't believe I was so late last week...

Jen is filling in for with a sketch this week, and what a fun idea, she's doing a little replay challenge, pulling from an old sketch we used and now we'll freshen it up with new samples! And, lucky for me, its got a circular element in it, which for me is always a favorite!

I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest that I'm probably not the only one who will be previewing upcoming sets today! So, be sure to pop around to visit the Cat Pack this week to see what they've got to share.

I'm going to let you in on a little secret, I loathe mushrooms. They gross me out in food, they gross me out in real life... but on paper they're okay. In fact, if they're polka dotted, they're pretty darned cute. (But I still won't eat them.... yuck!)

I stamped the larger and the smaller one to patterned paper so that I'd have easy peasy little cute toadstool tops, and then created a little paper scene with my nesties, scissors and tea dye ink. The sentiment was stamped in Brilliance, then coated with clear embossing powder and then zapped with my heat tool.

Now, with TCP's linen thread, there is *no* excuse for naked buttons. (Do you hear me, no excuse!!) I keep an embroidery needle threaded with each of the colors on my desktop. I use the needle to pierce the placement of each button and in a flash they are securely sewn onto my project. Perfect placement, no "au natural" buttons. You'll notice that I alternated between 4 and 2 hole buttons of the same size...

You know the deal... link up your project using this sketch to the guestbook on Alma's blog for your chance to get Swanky!

Because I am having SUCH fun playing around with the newest releases, I also put Jen's Sketch For You To Try to work with this sweet ballerina bunny. I thought this was such a great sketch to share just the little teeny bunny.

The set comes with this cool woodgrain pattern which I've stamped twice to the bottom 1/3 of my oval to create the dance floor.

I've broken up the sentiment "You are Tutu Much" (how cute is that....) onto two flags. I'm trying my best to channel Amy's fun treatments to fill up that space on the top right hand quadrant using a chipboard heart. The chipboard heart was given a healthy coating of Crackle Accents - the nested heart frame was stitched, and then given a healthy dose of Tea Dye ink.
Again, remember to thread up those buttons and mix up how you thread the holes for a bit of added visual interest.

Thanks SO much for stopping by today and have a beautiful day!

MFT Previews - Jolinne

Have you been enjoying all the previews from MFT this week. Seriously, isn't this release HUGE? There are more previews today, and again tomorrow too. I know... so much to choose from!

Today is the day that we're sharing new Jolinne images with you, and I'm working with this sweet ballerina and her little bunny friend.

The dress was stamped to patterned paper, and then I painted it with a glaze of Matte Medium and Claudine Helmuth paint. Its impossible to see here but it gives it a really cool texture in real life.

Patterned paper is Jillybean Soup. (Gasp, how have I NOT used this paper before so cute!!)

You'll want to stop by Kim's blog today after 11am est to see the full list of designers participating in previews of the two new Jolinne's being shared today.

PI Preview

Who says Monday morning has to get off to a rough start? I've got some My Favorite Things Pure Innocence previews for you today, which I hope will put a smile on your face.

Up first is "Make Mine a Double" and I cut into the GORGEOUS new paper from the Girls Paperie that I've been coveting since I saw it pop up during CHA previews. Isn't this sweetie's paper pieced dress too cute?

I popped up the ice cream one level for a little added detail, and also just because I'm crazy like that with the paper piecing. I also stamped a second band for the detail strip on her dress.

Finishing accents include lots of machine stitching, and some twill tape (thanks to Sherrie, I'm now addicted to the stuff!)

Up next is our little PI celebrating as the queen for the day. Again, with the paper piecing. *giggle* For this card, I've used an MFT Fossil Scalloped note card. Such a fun little size. I'm adding this to my birthday stash for all my little friends! Isn't her little crown so sweet?

Patterned Paper here is My Minds Eye Quite Contrary.

I've added a coating of Glitzy Glitter to the cake, because really, shouldn't frosting be nice and sugary? Mmmmm.

And, because I've been having SUCH fun playing with these cuties, I've got a third sample for you!

Check out this studious little cutie pie. Patterned paper is Material Girl from Cosmo Cricket, and I actually even used a piece of patterned paper with my apron lace punch. Why hadn't I thought of that before, because I love it!!

I must say, it was one of those patterned papers that I had no idea what I'd do with it... but it works just great as a punched accent. Once I liked that... I also took that same patterned paper, punched a small circle, coated it with Glitzy Glitter and added it as a center of my flower accent.

After I finished coloring the image, I soaked a scrap of denim fabric with blender solution and pressed it against the little colored skirt. It transferred the texture of the denim right onto her skirt. I love the little bit of texture it adds to the project.

Be sure to check Kim's blog today after 11am for a full list of designers participating in previews today! Tomorrow is the Jolinne preview day - I'll see you then!!
