Previews with Stamp and Die-namics Duos

I really do love the Die-namics and stamp duos for quicker card making. Today I've got samples to share with BOTH of the new sets....

Before I get to that though, don't forget that I'm running Blog Candy HERE

Up first is the Baby Onesie stamp and Die-namics.  It's part of the family with the Girly Graphic Tee and the Masculine Graphic tee, only cute, and tiny. The die features lines that both cut and emboss for details at the sleeves, collar and the little diaper snaps...  so sweet.

The stamp set that coordinates is *huge* with tons of creative possibilities.  Inspired by this sweet new patterned paper, I inked up "Little Princess."  The sweet crown would have easily fit on the tiny tee too, but I loved putting it off to the side nestled inside a pair of Circle STAX.  A tiny cluster of Fishtail Flags STAX peek out from the bottom of the main panel.

If you haven't noticed, MFT also carries card stock and ribbon now.  I am in love, love, love with the new ribbon.  This one is Whipped Cream.   (FYI, this cute layout is courtesy of a previous Karen Giron Sweet Sunday Sketch. It's a really versatile one, just go ahead and tuck it onto your Pinboards for future reference.

I'm using my a*Muse studio inks for the stamping on here, I love the variety of colors, and the excellent coverage.

Here's a peek at the stamp set and Die-namics.  Really sweet right?

I also have a sample of the new Airplane Greetings Die-namics and Stamp Set, as well as the Jumbo Cloud STAX.

I pretty much love making little scenes with cards, and I've hand cut a rolling hill from MFT's Sour Apple Felt and stitched it in place.  The Puff Cloud White Felt was used for the Jumbo Cloud STAX. If you haven't checked out the MFT Felt yet, I highly recommend it. The Die-namics cut it like butter!  And there's a huge assortment of colors....

Don't you think this set would make fun cards for boys?  Or prettied up, would be a fun stamp set for a cheerful hello for a friend?  I also envision this set as fabulous for new baby cards.   While there is an element on the stamp set you can use to stamp the rope for the banner, I just attached mine with a bit of twine.  I cut the propeller from grey card stock and attached with a small brad.

Clearly Sentimental Previews

Welcome to day three of Teasers for My Favorite Things upcoming July Release.  The products I'm sharing today will be available at 10pm EST on Tuesday, July 3rd.

Today I'm using the new Triple Scoop Stamp Set (and last month's Triple Scoop set too).  Remember that the Triple Scoop is FREE with orders of $60 or more excluding tax and shipping. This month's Triple Scoop is Clearly Sentimental about Audrey Hepburn.  Learn all about the Triple Scoop Promo here.

I used the new stamp set to create a scrap page of myself and my bestie, Meredith.   Meri and I have been friends since college. We've been through thick and thin together, and she's that friend that you don't have to give any of the back-story to, she knows it all.  Quite often she knows me better than I know myself.  What I love love love about this girl is that she's always true to herself.  And that, my friends, is a beautiful thing to be.....

If you follow MFT you might know Meri as a repeat winner of the Guest Designer Challenge.  Now its funny, we're an unlikely pairing if you know us well.  Our personal styles couldn't be more different, I'm clean classic girl, and she's got an eclectic funky style.  Let me just say, that she is the most fabulous person so shop with EVER.  If I'm out and about on my own, I'm always texting her for her advice. This photo was snapped on a visit to Nordstrom's Rack this spring.

Inspired by her fun and funky style, I bought these patterned papers from Pink Paislee -

I added a mix of products to mimic Meri's fun "collected" style.  She's got trendy stuff, vintage stuff and mixes it all beautifully.  I love it.  I used the Simply Scallops in two colors and stitched them in place. The Traditional Tags STAX is anchored behind the top of the main panel and stitched in place. I've cut the Vine Border Die-namics and the Plentiful Petals Die-namics from corrugated cardboard.

I've gone ahead and used the same patterned paper to make a coordinating card to go with the page.  For the card though I'm using last month's Triple Scoop Complimentary Greetings.  This set will be available as an individual item this coming Tuesday.

I've paired Complimentary Greetings with the new Designer Labels STAX 3, the bright pop of yellow you see was cut with the Solid Bracket Border Die-namics and I created a custom embellishment with the Plentiful Petals Die-namics.

To create the embellie, I cut the smallest of the blossoms from Plentiful Petals twice from corrugated cardboard, and then added a stacked set of buttons to the center....  You can see I've got a little triad of Fishtail Flags STAX peeking out again today.

Here's a peek at the two new stamp sets so you can see all the amazing sentiments included this month....  Be sure to visit the MFT Blog today for a full list of designers with samples to share.

And here's the graphics for the upcoming Die-namics. What's your favorite so far this month?

Flopsey - You Lift Me Up!

Welcome to day TWO of Teasers for My Favorite Things! We're gearing up for our next release on Tuesday, July 3rd at 10pm EST.

**Don't forget I'm running blog candy HERE**

I'm a day late with this week's Wednesday Stamp Club sample, because I'm using it for my Flopsey You Lift Me Up preview.  He's nestled into some felted grass with the Grass Die-namics

This cutie-patootie pattered paper is from Crate Paper, I used it to paper piece some balloons for my dear friend Flopsey.  I was pretty excited to run across a spool full of my beloved Kraft Ribbon, which was just the accent I needed for this card.

I folded over the back edge of one of the new Sentiment Strips and stitched it in place. Those babies sure are handy... you'll want to tuck those into your shopping cart on Tuesday night.

My Favorite Sentiments:

I loved the My Favorite Sentiments set so much that I just had to create TWO projects today. You'll want to take a close look at this fun stamp set and here's why.....

MFT is so excited to celebrate our 6th birthday this month! It has been our pleasure serving you and look forward to many more years to come. In honor of the celebration, we have a special offer for you. From July 3 through July 31, we are offering the My Favorite Sentiments stamp set at the bargain price of just $6 ($17.95 retail value). The stamp set is a graphic collection of sentiments inspired by you, our valued MFT fans.

**Please note: one set per customer, while supplies last, no rain checks**

Up first, I made a little altered canvas....

The set features an assortment of sentiment based stamps, in a variety of fonts.  I particularly love this one. I thought it would be fun to accent the font with some Copic coloring too!

I used the Fishtail Flags Die-namics which I added eyelets and twine to, and then accented with a bit of Simply Scallops Trim and a big fluffy bow.  I love the combination of soft accents like the felted scallop and the swirly accent under the sentiment, set against the rugged burlap.  *love*

Aren't these colors fun?  I pulled the pieces using this week's CR84FN Challenge....

Here's my second sample, I've got to say, I just love the way the aMuse inks look on kraft paper. This is some pretty awesome ink coverage.   I added a 1/4 Rosette Die-namics behind the Circle STAX and then added a bling circle ring, then anchored with two more Circle STAX.

I've been liking adding these banner clusters to just the bottom half of my card lately.  You'll be seeing this treatment on several cards of one the next few days.

Who's that Girl?

I also sample to share with you using the soon to be released Who's that Girl: Straight from the Carton.  She's super fun to paper piece, I added a wood floor, wallpaper and then a cozy upholstered chair and pillow. I love love using patterned paper to do this.

If you're not familiar with building a full scene from paper here's a video that shows you how to do it...

I've squeezed in my new favorite Striped Twill Ribbon, and anytime I can tuck in a length of the Vintage Trim, I'm always a happy girl.  The sentiment is tucked onto a Mini Tabs Foursome Die-namic.

Be sure to check the MFT Blog for a full list of designers with samples to share with you today.

Here's a list of the products I'm using in today's post (except for the things that will be added as part of the new release!)

Hello, Friend!

Yesterday I decided I really ought to put in a second sample for Karen Giron's Casting Call for the Sweet Sunday Sketch challenge.  There are a lot of great entries already... so I figured it wouldn't hurt to throw my name into the ring a second time.  And lucky me, I happened to have some new patterned paper from Pebbles that had just arrived in the mail.

**Don't forget I'm offering Blog Candy, you can find it here**

I've only inked up the sweet Freckles Pure Innocence stamp once, which is a shame, so I grabbed the 6x6 pad, my Copics and my paper trimmer and got working.  I stamped away while my hubby watched TV. Gosh, its been a while since I've been a late night stamper, then again with kids home on vacation, you've gotta do what you've gotta do right? The problem is once I start the late night stamping, I'm up way too late. Hopefully I'm not a cranky witch for the kids today. Whoops.

Here's my card, I'm love love love using brights and whites together, it always feels so crisp.  Note to self, buy more ivory card stock!  In place of the two embellies shown in the sketch, I used the last little bit of my aqua saddle stitched ribbon. *sob*

You can find Karen's Casting Call here, and remember, entries close on June 29th at 10pm.  Here's the sketch to follow....

And here's links to all of the products I've used today!  Thanks for stopping by, see you tonight with teasers for the upcoming MFT Release!
