Deconstructed

Looks like I've successfully avoided cleaning my desk for another day.  Well, actually I sat down to stamp, cleaned up about 75% of the mess, and then started playing around.  And in so doing, I took out a whole bunch of stuff, and made a mess all over again.

The sketch is this week's Deconstructed Sketch, this week designed by Amber and it's a fun one with oodles of layers.  I picked up this Echo Park: For the Record 2 patterned paper but hadn't had a chance to play with it.   The sentiment is from the Girly Graphic Tee stamp set and the stamps are fabulous whether you're dressing up a graphic tee, or using it for a sentiment based card.  Yippee!

Embellishment cluster with the help of some of my favorites - the Layered Rose and the Rolled Scallop Flower cut from felt.  Royal Leaves cut from corrugated cardboard and given a healthy dusting with Distress Ink.

So, who cares if I didn't get the desk cleaned up for real.  I really like this card, and I got it squeezed in after a lot of work, and still got to the pickup line for school in time, so in my book, it's all good. Maybe I'll clean it up tomorrow?

Here's the links to the products I used in today's post. Have a GREAT weekend!
