April SHOP HOP!

We've got our monthly SHOP HOP tonight for My Favorite Things. I've got two projects to share with you using my FAVORITE set this month titled Own Your Story. This set is packaged with the Four Point Frame Die-namic. I've got to say I've had a total blast working with this set, and I am already looking forward to working with it again!

In case you missed the full set reveal on the MFT Blog - here's the set - isn't it huge? Isn't it amazing? So many elements to combine, you'll love the possibilities!

And don't forget, it comes with the Four Point Die-namics Frame - which is amazing paired with this set, or for added possibilities, switch it out of the other stamps in your collection.

So, here's my first project for tonight's hop... pink, black, white and kraft, so very *me*

I've added the leafy flourish with a green chalk ink and the distressed sentiment "Be Brave" is stamped to the circular piece of the Sweet Stack. Do you spy the notebook pattern, it is included in this set. Love it (I've been using it a lot this week to stamp my own ledger paper....) I stamped this collage image to the Four Point Frame cut from Fossil cardstock and repeatedly typed Click Clack to a small strip of Fossil cardstock as well.

Here's the second project I have for you using the same stamp set, and frame Die-namic. I went for a softer look than all the bold colors of my first project. I stamped the friend definition stamp along with the leafy flourish to the frame Die-namic. And I layered the Simply Scallops Medium with a few of the fun patterned papers in the Cosmo Cricket Upcycle patterned papers.

I've added a triple layer of the Simply Scallops Medium Die-namic over lapped in a fish-scale type pattern.

And okay, I've been stamping up a storm for this release. I'm in love! So, I have another project for you using the Four Point Frame Die-namics and the Typewriter Alphabet. I used Jen's Sketch For You To Try for April and put together a much needed boy birthday card.

And look at that, a peek at the new Die-namic Open Zig Zag Border too. Cut from woodgrain paper (yes I'm slightly obsessed)

Do you spy that I've stamped the flourish from Own Your Story on the patterned paper with Distress ink? It is probably hard to see here, but in real life it adds a nice texture. All the embellishments were done in a boyish, rough treatment - a denim scrap, wooden button, bit o twine, and a canvas scrap stapled in place.

Okay, you made it through this marathon blog post! At long last I'm going to pass you off to the next stamper in tonight's lineup..... MEGAN LOCK I really love her sweet style and I know she'll have something truly wonderful for you this evening!

Have a BLAST shopping this month, I'd love to know which stamps and Die-namics were YOUR favorite this month!
