Curtain Call Love Letter Challenge - Grow Old With Me

I'm so excited to play along in a new (to me) challenge. It's one that I've often seen people playing in, but hadn't had the chance to sit down and get it done.  However, this week's inspiration piece was just too beautiful to pass up.  I gave it a spin and came up with my own lovey-dovey card for the challenge.

Of course, for me this was a good chance to create some very full, layered flowers a whirl.  I do so love putting together embellishment trios like this.

Since it is a love "letter" I pulled out my Postage Stamp STAX and stamped the new Love Story stamp set.  Earlier in the week I sold off a bunch of my cards and forgot to save a valentine for my husband, so I'll have to keep this one tucked away where he won't see it!

Today I've picked the Mini Hybrid Heirloom Rose and the Fringed Perennial for my flowers.  The Delicate Doilies Die-namics is peeking out from behind. You do know that this die is FREE with a $60 purchase at My Favorite Things right now. Free Dies you say?  Amazing deal right - check it out HERE

To coordinate with the soft doilies in the inspiration photo, I used my Delicate Doily stencil to dry emboss my Grout Gray card stock. You can do this easy peasy with the addition of the Die-namics embossing pad in your sandwich stack.

For those of you that I haven't quite sold on the Fuse Green yet, here's another peek - I've used it for the Layered Leaves and a tiny Fuse Green button too.  My new color that I'm hooked on, and I've even shocked myself, Tangy Orange.  It's beautiful! Today it's paired with Red Hot, Grout Grey, Kraft and Black.

If you're feeling inspired, here's the link to the challenge and maybe I'll see you over there?

Here are the links to the products I've used today. Thanks so much for stopping by. I'll see you tomorrow with another card to share!
