Season's Giving Blog Hop: Happy Day with Giveaway!

I'm so excited to be hopping along with this year's Season's Givings Blog Hop.  It's a great way to kick off the New Year and if you've not been to my blog before, welcome!

My family was very blessed during 2013.  Though both my boys have severe food allergies, we are generally healthy.  My husband accepted a new position at work which he loves and I'm thrilled to work for a company I that I just adore, My Favorite Things. 

Though I haven't had time to blog as often as I'd like, I really do hope (and plan) to blog more frequently during 2014. For those of you that are longtime followers, I thank you all for your visits and sweet comments.  I love catching up with you all at MFT New Release Parties.  I'm always honored when I see any of you pinning my projects on Pinterest or "liking" my posts on FB.  I'm so blessed to have stampy friends online, because working from home can be sort of lonely at times.  It's always nice to "see" you all online.  For those of you that are new here, I hope you'll stick around and that I'll get to know you this year too!

So, I'm excited to share some of my good fortune with all of you! I picked up some goodies during a recent trip to the MFT Boutique. Today's assortment includes some of my favorites and they'll be packed up and sent out to one of you lucky visitors.

Of course I wanted to have a little something pretty to share with you all, to ring in the new year.  The Rolled Flower, Mini Hybrid Heirloom Rose and Layered Leaves that I'm using today are all part of today's giveaway.  Have you tried cutting MFT Felt using Die-namics. This felt cuts like butter and rolling flowers with it is a breeze!  I've also added a new Grout Gray Button - a new color which is part of the My Favorite Things January Release.

Did you know you can use the MFT Stencils to emboss?  Adding the thin Embossing Mat to your sandwich stack will give a light embossing to your card stock.  It's the perfect effect when you want a subtle background. It's also a very mess-free way to use your stencils.  This version is the Petal Circles Stencil (there are two OTHER stencils included in today's giveaway!)

The "2014" was cut from glitter card stock using the Little Numbers Die-namics.  They nestle just perfectly into my embellishment trio and are seated upon a Fishtail Flags STAX.

This cute, cute stamp set is titled Journal It - Pocket Calendar it's perfect for those of you that are doing Project Life, but it also makes for great cards when you want to denote a special date or occasion.  It fits just perfectly onto the Insert It - 3x4 Insert.

My color combo today includes Blu Raspberry, Pink Lemonade, Black Licorice, Factory Green, and
Primitive White.
