My Favorite Things Release Countdown - Forget Me Not & Blueprints 12

It's time for the My Favorite Things New Release Countdown!  I have been very busy stamping up a little frenzy so that I'd have lots to share with you.  I'll be posting all seven days of the Release Countdown - mark your calendars for the new release on February 11th at 10pm EST.

Be sure to check the MFT Blog every day during the Release Countdown for information about the SEVEN $75 Gift Vouchers. I mean really, you don't want to miss the chance at the first $75 of your order being FREE right?

Today's card is made with the sweet new stamp and coordinating Die-namics from Lisa Johnson titled Forget Me Not. Since I've got a black thumb instead of a green thumb a quick google search showed me what these pretty flowers would look like in real life.

I selected Berrylicious ink for the petals, with Lemon Drop ink for the centers and Factory Green Leaves. Though really these flowers would also be perfectly adorable in pink and I fully intend to use them that way as well!

So you see this fun stitched detail cut on my Nighshift Blue layer? That's part of the new Blueprints 12.  It will punch out a stitched circle, but will also lead this beautiful stitched impression on the negative.  Love that little effect!

Using a Circle STAX I also cut a slightly smaller window from Factory Green for a layered look.  The inside of the window was stamped with the pretty text included in the Forget Me Not stamp set using Nightshift Blue ink.   The sentiment sits on the Sentiment Strips Die-namics stamped in Olive Ink.

By the way, if you don't have Nightshift Blue just yet, take a closer look. I plan to use the daylights out of it this week.

I have another quick card to share with you today.  The new Blueprints 12 is so fun and features LOTS of stitched accents.  Did you know that each Blueprints Die-namics has a coordinating sketch which makes cardmaking quick and easy? It's just like putting a little puzzle together.

The sentiment was plucked from the Forget Me Not stamp set.  My love of the Woodgrain Background stamp set continues, I used it with Whip Cream ink on both the top and bottom panel.

Don't forget to check out the MFT Blog for a close look at the stamps and Die-namics previewing today! You'll also find a link to this month's Guest Designer and of course, you'll want to find out all about the Release Countdown Prizes!

Here are the links to the products I've used in today's post.  The links to the new products will work when the new release goes live on Tuesday, February 11th at 10pm EST! Thanks for stopping by today and see you tomorrow!

LOVE both of these Joanne! I like the green peeking out from the navy on your first card. Pink will always be my favorite color, especially when it is combined with sno cone! :)
