Happy 1st!

I had another first birthday card to make this week, and it just so happened I already had by the Numbers out and ready from the card I'd made for my niece the other day. This time, I used the coordinating set of number dies, but I did a little creative inking and stamp slicing to put together this sentiment pairing.

Check it out friends, I'm using colored cardstock again. Whoo-hoo!  Today I'm using Wild Cherry Cardstock and a coordinating Wild Cherry Button.  (I dug a baby blue one out of my general button jar because I haven't picked up the blue cardstock and buttons from MFT yet!)

I used my beloved Traditional Tags STAX and the Sentiment Strips on my card today.  The little "1st" is sitting inside a Circle STAX.  It's hard to see in the full sized photo, but the cut little #1 was overstamped with one of the images from the stamp set. (You can see it better in the top photo.)

I just totally adore this cute Crate Paper 6x6 pad - love the bold and bright houndstooth pattern paper. I will admit, I have a healthy addiction to 6x6 pads.

You'll find links to all the products I've used today just below:

I love this. Love that lil blue paper and the texture it shows. And I love the ribbon, that is a nice touch to the card. Hoping to start collecting paper and ribbons too, but need to use up what I have! ;)
