A Sweet Card for this Week's Curtain Call

I'm playing along again in this week's Curtain Call Challenge.  It's warm and cozy (you can find it HERE), and this week's challenge is sponsored by My Favorite Things, so that's pretty much a match made in heaven. The LEAD selected this week will win a $20 voucher to My Favorite Things, go ahead and play along!!

I pulled from the blue and cocoa colored combo to do a little collage and my version of a clean and simple card. Gosh, my clean and simple is still kinda busy eh?

Before I go diving into today's card, I just wanted to say thank you to the folks over at Curtain Call, I had so much fun with their Love Letter challenge and was so very excited to see that they recognized my card as a "showstopper" for the challenge.  Eeeks! So exciting!

Okay, back to today's card!  To begin, I pulled out my KraftNaturalChocolate and Berrylicious ink pads.  I pulled out my Chocolate Sentiments stamp set.  I opted to go all lovey-dovey pairing in a Heart STAX, which I  stamped with my Woodgrain Background stamp with Kraft ink.  The sweet little sentiment was added the sentiment with Chocolate ink. I lifted and tugged the top edges of the heart forward for a little extra dimension.

I must say that I'm not usually one for a "messy" background but I reached for my Abstract Art stamp set and randomly stamped in Natural, Kraft and Berrylicious ink.

Today's little embellishment cluster (I love making these!) was created with a Whip Cream Button, a Berrylicious Button and a Layered Rose with a Chocolate Button in the center.  If you look close enough, you'll see a Mini Delicate Doilies Die-namics peeking out from behind <- I am addicted to this tiny Die-namics! Remember they are FREE with your purchase of $60 or more this month, read all about FREE Die-namics here.

Here's the current Curtain Call Inspiration - I hope you'll come play along too!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
