MFTeaser #2 and Blog Candy!

In case you were interested in any of those retired sets of mine I mentioned last week, a lot of them are hovering at five dollars (Including an alpabet set, a retired Level 3 Hostess set as well Love Matters and A light Heart!) Eeks! Good stuff out there, all of which is way better than five bucks!
Now onto today's MFTeaser! When I first saw this HUGE set "Goin' Places" from MFT, I knew right away that I wanted to create a travel journal. Out came the bind it all, and I was in the middle of organizing and sorting all my designer paper and ran across enough of this fabulous Scenic Route paper to make the journal.
Are YOU going somewhere? This journal could be yours! You can enter by simply commenting on this thread with your journey! It can even be a "life" journey rather than actually travelling to a place. My question is, what journey will YOU cherish?

My Favorite Things is having a New Release Cocktail Party on Wednesday, May 7 from 9-11 p.m. Eastern time. Lots of fun is planned including finding out how YOU can be the next MFT Guest Designer. Head over to the MFT forum on Splitcoast Stampers to find out all the details and we hope to see you there on Wednesday night.

I'll collect entries on this blog candy till the launch Wednesday night and will post the winner at 9pm EST here on my blog!

Wow, I have been looking for stamps that have a travel theme since we have a camper and love to go camping in it. This would be a great little journal to make notes in about the campgrounds we go to etc. Our next trip is going to Natural Bridge, VA over Memorial weekend. This is a great little journal. Thanks.

My husband and I are celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary by going on a 13 day cruise/land tour of Alaska this summer! Your journal would be the perfect spot to jot down all the highlights of each day. I can hardly wait!

So cute! My boyfriend and I are going to the Mayan Riviera at the end of May for two weeks and are contemplating getting married while there as we have been together for six years! Only downer is it would break my Moms heart not to be there, so we'll see!

My favorite journey is motherhood. Nothing quite prepared me for all the emotions involved. I'm bracing myself for all the joys, heartaches and memories of watching my daughter grow up.

That journal is beautiful! It would be a great Mother's Journal! Thanks for the chance to win!

What an adorable journal! My daughter loves to keep journals on any trips she goes on. At this time we don't have any journey's planned. We're hoping to go camping since it's about all that would be affordable right now. My daughter will be taking a tripe to an overnight at Sea World with her class...hopefully she'll write about it since I won't be there! Ahhh!

What a cute journal. Makes me want to break out the bind-it-all and get cracking on some myself. We're headed to Massachusetts this summer, but first I get to spend a week or so in Alaska on business! Won't necessarily be all business and I'll bet I could get lots of inspiration to put in a journal while I'm up there. ~chris

ooh - this is FABULOUS!! I'd LOVE to win this - in 15 days we'll be heading to CA to visit family (the arrival of our nephew) and visit our sweet 2-yr old niece Gabby! This would be cool to jot down my memories in.

What an awesome journal! This set looks so fun too. I'd have to say, since I dont travel too much, that life's journey is THE most awesome journey there is to me. The everyday people you just happen to meet in life, the wonders of nature...I could go on and on lol! Thanks so much for the chance to win this!

Great journal!

The journey I"m currently on is trying to deal with infertility, and hope to do IVF in the next year so that my husband and I can (hopefully) become parents. In the meantime, we love road trips and spend a few weekends each summer camping.

ooh, ooh, pick me! I neeeed this. I am fortunate enough to be taking my adult children, their spouses and their babies, 2 1/2 and under, to see my family in Maine. The babies will get to meet their great-great-grandmother for the first time! I have been trying to get this going for a long time and am so excited to have it come to fruition!

In June I get to go on a Carribbean cruise with my BFF's. This will be a trip of a lifetime for me. I actually paid for my cruise with money I made stamping. Too Cool! HUH! I am so STOKED! I have been writing down things like: what outfits to wear what day... which pj's to take... etc... I know, I'm going a little overboard... ha,ha no pun intended! This would be a great way to decorate it or I could just transfer everything to this journal! I love the colors, Very tropical! Thanks for the chance to win the awesome journal and letting me tell my news!!!!

What a super journal...love the colors! And, such a neat idea for a stamp set (I'm a geography lover...nerdy, I know!).

I am taking the kids (maybe myself) to Ontario this summer to visit my parents. Fun and scary at the same time!

This little journal is great. I'm planning to take a trip with my Mom to Niagra for a milestone birthday this summer, plus travelling from Edmonton to Salt Lake City - Yipee...and my dream journey is a trip to Greece with my husband. Joan

My greatest journey was a rocky, horrible road through infertility. After 5 years of losses and failed cycles I finally conceived my daughter with ART. She will turn 4 this summer. The most surprising journey began when she was 9 months old and I found out I was pregnant again all without ART!!! My little man will be 3 in the fall. :)

Really cute journal!! :)

Beautiful journal! Being a mom of 2young boys (and if you count the husband) 3, is such a wonderful experience!

This is so cute Joanne and would be perfect for my 'journey'. I am taking my almost five year old twin girls home to Ireland where I was born and raised to see my family and friends and where I grew up. I'm leavibg the hubby at home, better that way :o) We can't wait to go, we're leaving 6/9 and coming back 7/4. I think I need that stamp set.

There are so many journey in life, but the one that comes to mind is a trip to Norway. I am full-blooded Norwegian and I would love to go there. My dad has been and found relatives there. He visited the old family farm and saw such wonderful views of the Fjords. My DH loves to take photos and he would have a field day in Norway. Thanks for the chance to win.

Talk about a journey!!!! Last year I retired after 30 years working civil service. As I'm a single Granny and had hardly ever been out of California, I decided I wanted to see the US.....soooo, I bought a travel trailer & an F-250 diesel truck, put the rest of my house in storage and away I went! I traveled, by myself, for several momths. I started in California but I must admit that, somewhere in Pennsylvania, I decided I knew why I lived in CA [no offense to anyone from anywhere]. It was an 'excursion' that I'll always treasure. I saw so much history in so many, many states!!! I took alot of pictures, but they are trapped in my computer, waiting for a cool travel book! I'm a cardmaker, not a scrapbooker, so it's a challenge to make a book. btw, I got a HUGE trailer so I could take all my stamping stuff with me!!! I couldn't go anywhere without my craft room. What a ball!
