So appreciative.....

I'm LATE today but did you see that there's BIG huge news at MFT today. Four new designers are joining us on the Design Team. Please visit the MFT Blog for all the details. I'm tickled pink having these girls on the team, and they're jumping RIGHT in with Teasers for the new release starting tomorrow!
-----------------------------------------------------------
Full panic mode has set in here at the Basile Household. Next week is Teacher Appreciation Week!?! WHAT? How, does this catch me off guard every single year? I honestly thought it was the week after next.

Luckily Jen's SFYTT came in handy for me. I've used nearly the whole layout, but skipped those three tiny elements in the bottom right hand corner. And added a GIGANTIC twill bow instead.

Patterned paper is from Girls Paperie. Oh, its so beautiful. Love. love. love. The edges really just do BEG for me to crumple and roll them. I've inked up Pure Innocence Book in Hand and added some little stickers to spell out "thanks." I'm a mom of boys, but come on, we know that I'm really much more appreciative of the teacher than the boys probably are.... she's the one that I entrust my two highly allergic boys to each day.....

But since I can't manage to color on each of the NINE cards I need to make (insert eye roll here) I also have made some non-coloring cards for the boys to send in....

Framed Greetings
to the rescue. If you met me at CHA Summer in Chicago last year, quite likely I sold you this set. I call it my Marriage Saver Set. For those occasions in which you need a card in five minutes, but it still needs to be cute. I picked up this cute patterned paper from Studio Calico at my LSS because I knew the need for teacher cards was coming up. Love these big colorful apples. A bit of scalloped detail with my Simply Scallops Medium.

I'm back to the drawing board, because I have a LOT more to make, and you know me, I don't really like making the same card more than once. I mean what's the fun in that? And as you know, I just *happen* to have a ridiculous amount of paper and stamps around here. Better get stamping!
