Inspired by Birds

I'm a day late to the party for this month's New Release from My Favorite Things.  I've been away on vacation with the family and I'm a little behind in the creative department!  I missed Teasers for this month's Who's That Girl (sad...) but I'm hoping to tuck a little time away to stamp this weekend! I'm jumping in on Day Two of Teasers with this month's Inspired By set..... On a recent trip to my LSS I picked up this beautiful Webster's Papers mini sized pad.  I like to keep some "elegant" papers for these sorts of stamps, and this one was *just* the ticket.

I'll admit that large flocks of birds freak me out, panic that they'll poop on one of us, but I do love watching them at the feeder. And I'll add that birds at the feeder are HUGE entertainment for the daycare crowd here at my house.  I'm going to send this one of to my grandmother who is a big birdwatcher! 

I stamped the image with Versafine - I really love that ink for fine detail work. The Inspired By images really do all the work for you, just use a shade darker where the stippling of the art is darker and voila, instant shading. 

I'm really excited about our new Oval STAX Die-namics!  I've combined an oval from Set 1 and Set 2 for this close matting. By purchasing both sets, you'l have a wide assortment of oval dies for your projects, and instant matting options.
