Moment....

I am so, crazy excited about the stamp set I'm previewing today. I've got LOTS of photos to share with you about the flip book I've made today.  I was inspired by a project by one of the Scor-Pal designers made with a 12x12 piece of card stock, but I modified mine to make it from an 8.5x11 since I hardly EVER have 12x12 card stock at home. (You can find Virginia's Accordian Flip Train here...)

I'm working with the soon to be released Behind the Camera Die-namics and Stamp Set.  To begin with I die cut my camera, and both of the included circles.  The circular sentiment was stamped and then I added the "lens" with a Jody Booster.  I stamped the solid line twice and then added a strip of patterned paper for a cute and bold camera.

When you flip the book open, I've added two pennants created with the Mix & Match Banners Die-namics and one of the sentiments from the Camera Die-namics and Stamp Set.  A little accent with the Mini Film Strip Border Die-namics.  My first photo is of the my older son and I ready to bowl in our snazzy bowling shoes!   I added numbers to each page, with the By the Numbers Die-namics so that I can add captions later....

Flip to the next page, and it is the pizza that they brought right to our lane. You see, this place is a pizza, bowling alley!  The kids enjoyed their root-beer, and us grownups enjoyed a tasty draft beer.  (Have I mentioned how much I love this place?)

You'll see the new Photo Corners Die-namics I layered the standard shape with the scalloped edge one. I think these are an amazing accent to any scrappy pages, but I also see myself using these a lot in card making!

The lens shaped sentiments are also pretty sweet for journaling tags.  I filled it with the heart from Hearts a Plenty.   I used some woodgrain patterned paper to mimic the gorgeous wooden bowling lanes.

Here's the layout of the flip book so far.....

But flip again and you get to this journaling card with the "say cheese" sentiment. Say, why didn't I put that next to the pizza since that's the only kind those two will eat?

Here's the final view, with the obligatory family photo. My family knows better than to object about me and the camera.  This was such a fun day, the kids were a little bummed out that the lanes didn't have bumpers and that they had a lot of gutter balls, but its okay because guess what, the adults did too!

Now that it is all photographed, I've got to write in my 1, 2, 3 journaling elements! I hope you had fun with today's preview. Be sure to visit the MFT Blog for a full list of designers with a preview for you today!
