I've had an amazing summer with my family, it's the first summer in nine years that I haven't been operating my home based daycare. It's been a busy one, filled with lots of camp days for my boys, countless sunscreen applications and trips to the pool.
I don't want to wish the summer away, because it's been incredible, but tomorrow, everyone heads back to school and work. And for that, I'm pretty excited. It means that maybe I'll actually GET this card into the mail for the friend I made it for. You'll find links to the products I used today at the bottom of this post....
Seriously folks, I used colored cardstock! Woo-hoo! All I can say is that it's been a while. A long while, but it's something I'm working on... Now that My Favorite Things is carrying matching cardstock, ribbons and buttons, it's something I can do again with confidence. Because I really, really like when things match.
Pattern paper is from Glitz Designs, I love this fresh country feel with the chickenwire, cherries and gingham. I added a bit of Pretty Posies cut from corrugated cardboard and some Fishtail Flags stuck sideways across my layout.
Here are the links to the products I've used today. Thanks and see you soon!

What a sweet image, and you've colored her so beautifully, as always! Glad your summer has been so wonderful - sounds like you deserved it! Thanks for sharing :)
This is so nice. Looking so beautiful. I have seen the different designs at Plastic card printing company but never seen the creative design like this. I really appreciate this.
Very cute! I'm a stay at home Mom, so it's been a busy, fun summer here with 3 kids. But, I do feel like I got nothing accomplished over the summer so in a way I also look forward to some time to get things done when the kids go back to school on the 4th.
Adorable card Joanne! Love the corrugated flower and sweet PI girl :)
