Today I have a scrap page to share with you using elements from the new Laina Lamb Design line at MFT Stamps.  I wanted to finish up my December photos because soon I'm going to be swimming in skiing photos (hooray!) that will need pages.  I had a few shots that I really loved from Christmas Day - a closeup of each of my boys in front of our tree, and this sweet photo of my boys and their adorable little cousins.  I must say, I am loving the Project Life format for some streamlined scrapbooking.

I super love that the elements from Laina Lamb all pair so well, so that I continue to pull from elements from the line to mix and match.....  For my first little section, I used the 3x4 Insert paired with the Days and Dates calendar grid. I decided to use the chalk-art technique and stamped and heat embossed on black paper.  As you can see, I stamped the By the Number with the new Spring Backgrounds set with MFT Black Licorice.  I've embellished with an arrow from Lead the Way

The next is a photo that I loved .... my ten year old son staring at the tree with such admiration. Each year, I wonder if it will be the last really "magical" Christmas around here.  I hope he's still so enchanted with the magic of Christmas next year.

The bottom square incorporates my journaling pocket.  You might notice that I decided to adhere the pocket to the outside of the page protector. Once it's inside the page, it will be tricky to get the journaled notes out to read.  The 3x4 Notebook Insert fits neatly inside the 3x4 Pocket I stamped "Read This" which you'll find included in the new Journal It - Library Card stamp set.

I have another project to share with you using the Journal It - Library Card stamp set. These elements are great for cardmakers and scrapbookers alike.  I cut the 3x4 Pocket from Sno Cone paper and again from this fun blueprinted paper.  There are lots of stories in life, and this one is going going to be a new home card.  Get it? See, I've included the little key from Keys and Locks the blueprints and the note "Important" stamped in Sno Cone ink?

A simple Pretty Posies Die-namics finished off with a Kraft Button is my only simple embellishment.

Here are the links to the existing products from the MFT Boutique I've used today. This collection now includes the NEW Release products too!
