Time Flies! A Deconstructed Birthday Card

I can hardly believe that tomorrow my little guy turns eleven. ELEVEN?  I saw this week's Deconstructed Sketch and simply loved it.  I was excited to sneak away to my craft table to put together a little something special for my sweet little guy.....

I reached for the Lisa Johnson Designs On the Line Stamp set and then pecked through to see what Die-namics I'd use for the center panel, the Tag You're It was just the perfect shape and size.

Have you seen the new Pierced Circle STAX Die-namics? I just love the detail it adds and then I don't feel compelled to stitch around the circle.  You can stitch around the circle, but let me say, it's maybe not the easiest thing to do.  These pierced details make life certainly much easier.

I cut the "11" using my By the Numbers Die-namics, and have you tried the Cork Sheets? Oh goodness, they're so fun, what a neat texture! Of course, you know me, I had to find a way to incorporate my Fishtail Flags - I stitched down the center for an extra little touch.

All my matting is with Whip Cream Card Stock and my card base was made with Kraft Card Stock

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  Have a wonderful weekend!
