I know I've mentioned before, that while I do love to color, I also sometimes just relish the chance to play with paper, Die-namics and ink. That's ESPECIALLY the case when I have fun new stamp and Die-namics pairings like today's preview for My Favorite Things! Our next release is coming up on August 6th at 10pm EST. Be sure to check the MFT BLOG for the full stamp set reveals and information about Teaser Time Prizes!
I'm using elements from the new Blueprints 6 Die-namics paired with stamps and Die-namics from Mona Pendleton's line. The Timeless Stamp set pairs just perfectly with the new Time Pieces Die-namics.
The stamp set includes a variety of clock faces, along with little hands you can stamp onto the coordinating Die-namics. I went for a layered look pairing the gorgeous Collage Backgrounds. Instead of my usual triad of flowers, I built my embellishment cluster with a Layered Rose with a few Royal Leaves, and a few gear elements from the Time Pieces Die-namics. As always I found a place to tuck in my beloved Fishtail Flags Die-namics and a Natural Button with a smidge of Hemp Cord.
The gorgeous scalloped border is an element included in this month's Blueprints - I am SUPER in love with this set of Blueprints, so many fun elements. I think it's my FAVORITE Blueprints yet! My Steel Grey and new Fuse Green layers were also cut from dies within this amazing set. I love how Blueprints make such quick work for card design, as all the proportions are guaranteed to work together nicely. I also love that they create such perfectly clean, crisp cuts, and of course straight edges.
