Butterfly Mojo

Yesterday's card was bold and bright, today's is soft, shabby and full of texture using the new MIX-ables Stencils from My Favorite Things.  I've used the Mojo Monday sketch for this week, and paired with the beautiful new Mona Pendleton Stamps and Die-namics.

This is the Scallops Stencil - oh how I love this one what a lovely design! I've added a layer of Molding Paste which really adds a ton of dimension.  In order to prime the cardstock I used two layers of Gesso on my Pink Lemonade card stock

I'm using the Fancy Butterflies Die-namics.  This die set cuts butterflies with lacy details as well as their solid counterparts for easy layering.  My lacy one was painted with Gesso then I used the Holtz Distress Paints in Antique Linen.   I added two tiny pearl accents to the body of the butterfly.

The text printed paper was stamped with the Collage Backgrounds Stamp and then I added a little Fishtail Flag accent.  While not included in the sketch, I added a tiny sentiment using the teeniest of the Traditional Tags STAX and a tiny hello from the Winged Beauties stamp set.

Thanks all for now, looking forward to stamping a little more again next week!  See you then, have a wonderful weekend!
