Oh goodness friends, I've been a terrible blogger. This sweet dog of mine had a series of accidents in my stamp studio and then decided to bark his face off at me whenever I sat at the stamp desk. That spoiled pooch of mine just doesn't like being ignored. I'm making progress getting him down there so I hope to be back at it more regularly quite soon.
Meanwhile, I've been busy getting ready for the upcoming release at My Favorite Things, I hope you enjoy holiday goodies because this release is FULL OF THEM. Hooray!
I'm starting with Snowflake Splendor from Lisa Johnson Designs. Using the Whip Cream Pigment Ink I stamped a trio of snowflakes repeatedly to make this pretty, subtle background paper. Have you looked into this pigment ink yet? Looks how pretty it is on colored cardstock, my friends, you need this one!
I've added a sentiment from the new Grand Holiday Greetings stamp set. If you loved Grand Greetings (and boy did I EVER!) then this set is for you! The sentiment nests on Designer Labels 4 STAX and I've added a teeny Naturals Button. A triad of Fishtail Flags was cut using Hot Fudge, Whip Cream and a beautiful silver card stock. The Hot Fudge and Whip Cream were stamped with the super fabulous new Sheet Music Background. It's a MUST have, and I seriously do not jest. You need this one. I plan to use it a gajillion times. You'll see more about this later this week.
My color combination here is a rustic holiday pairing. Kraft, Paver Red, Whip Cream, Hot Fudge and just a dash of silver. This month Paver Red Premium Dye is being released and it's right in time for your holiday crafting. It's gorgeous color, you can see a smidge of it here on my little Fishtail with the Sheet Music Background.
Remember that all week long, My Favorite Things has new stamps, Die-namics, stencils and our amazing replenishments to share with you. Be sure to check the MFT Blog every day for stamp set previews, new Die-namics graphics and of course your chance to WIN a Teaser Time Prize. We'll be showing new product every day between now and Tuesday, October 8th. The release will be at 10pm EST on the 8th, so mark your calendars!
