My Favorite Things - Release Rewind

I'm beyond excited to share a project with you today that I've prepared for this month's My Favorite Things Release Rewind.  I've pulled together an altered printer's frame with an assortment of products from MFT and I can't wait to show you!

In case you missed it, My Favorite Things has just had a HUGE new release and you'll want to check out all that is new RIGHT HERE in the MFT Boutique.

Here's a shot of the full printer's tray and then I'll review it with you section by section so you an see the details.

Laina's new Document It - Holiday Traditions stamp set is just perfect for scrapbooking, altered items, and yes cardmaking too! I've diecut the elements using the Accent It - Holiday Traditions Elements Die-namics.  I used that as the basis of my printers tray and then pulled in lots of other fun details.

First Panel:

Of course, I had to put both my boys on the "Nice" list or there would be a lot of drama.  Let's hope that by putting them on the nice list, they're smart enough to stay there?  Please!!!

The new Little Letters Die-namics is such a sweet size, I was able to add both boys names to the InstaFrame.  Two small Fishtail Flags peek out from behind the InstaFrame, I've stamped the Kraft flag with the Sheet Music Background using Kraft Ink.

Second Panel:

I'm a wee bit obsessed with the Home Sweet Home Die-namics - so I though I'd show you one more cute use for it! I diecut the house from Steel Grey cardstock and overstamped with the Woodgrain Background. Then, using Little Letters I added our name, and then die-cut "Traditions" from December Memories Die-namics.

I embellished with a tiny heart from the Homespun Birdhouse and then nestled the house into a set of Snow Drifts cut from Sweet Tooth Felt.

Third Panel:

Using the Insert-It 3x4 I diecut a piece of Primitive Cream Card stock and then stamped with Journal It - Calendar Basics.  I added 2013 with the Little Numbers Die-namics.  "December" from December Memories fits just perfectly at the top of the calendar.

The circular "Holiday Traditions" stamp is from Document It - Holiday Traditions, stamped in Kraft ink.  I added the Holly Leaf and Berries from the Jumbo Christmas Stocking Die-namics.

Here's a closer look at the second row of the tray.

Section One:

I selected the Insert-It: 3x4 Notebook Paper and then overstamped with Kraft ink using Journal It - Top Ten.  The Paver Red Buttons are so pretty! Do you have all the buttons yet, if not go add a baggie or two to your cart, you'll love having just the one you need.

Section Two:

This one is a repeat, though I switched the orientation of the letters, flags and "Nice list" little tag to give a little more balance.  If you have kids you'll know why I kept these two exactly the same.  No arguements.

Section Three:

Believe.  ...Sigh....  I sure hope they still do, though being eight and eleven I'm not so sure.  I have a feeling we're all dancing around the same issue.  "Do you? Don't you?  Do I? Don't I?"  The sentiment is from Holiday Subway Art stamped in Whip Cream into onto Steel Grey card stock.  I added a little Dec 25 medallion - numbers cut from Fuse Green with Little Numbers

The bottom corner of this section contains a molded Camellia Flower Die-namics and a set of Layered Leaves.  Since I'm SO in love with this flower I wanted to show you a closer view.  When working with this flower, I like to turn the petals upside-down on top of a mouse pad and using stylus really impress deeply upon each petal, it gives such a gorgeous detail to the flower.

That's it for me my friends! Be sure to head on over to the MFT Blog for a full list of designers with samples to share with you today!
