I'm back with another Wednesday Stamp Club sketch from My Favorite Things. Is it wrong to say that I'm in love with this card? Of late I've been knocking panels out of my cards instead of layering on top, I really love how this technique shows off the Cover-Up Die-namics.
Today's palette includes Primitive White, Steel Grey, Steel Blue, Kraft, Electric Red and yes, Fuse Green. I've been adding a lot of Fuse Green to my cards lately and for those of you that I've been tempting, maybe this will be the the color combination that twists your arm?
In this shot you can see a little bit more of the dimension created by layering my panels. There is a layer of dimensional adhesive between the Electric Red layer and the Chevron Cover-Up, and then another layer of dimensional adhesive between that and the front frame.
just a little tip….That Chevron is out of stock, but did you know the MFT Site features a "notify me" button. That way you can add your email address and you'll be notified automatically when the items you want come back into stock.
The sentiment is from the Lisa Johnson Cheerful Blessings stamp set. The Pierced Circle STAX adds just the right amount of detail so I don't feel compelled to stitch all around that panel. The flower I'm using today is the Fringed Perennial, I'm using just the smaller set of petals to coordinate with this layout. I've added a set of Fuse Green Royal Leaves.
That pretty scripted text is part of the Pretty Poppies stamp set which I've added with Whip Cream ink. I know you're probably not surprised that I add the Fishtail Flags to everything. You've got those babies already right?
Here's this week's sketch, I hope you will stop by the MFT Blog to check it out for yourself. You'll want to create your own card for this week's sketch for your chance to win!
Here are the links to the products I'm using today, thanks so much for stopping by!
