I've been busily putting away all my supplies from last night's big release, and the new Distressed Hearts stamp set and Distressed Heart Frame Die-namics spoke to me for today's sketch. I paired in the colors from this month's Color Palette challenge - I do love that pink, black and white!
My Pink Lemonade layer was embossed using the On the Diagonal Stencil - if you add the Embossing Pad to your sandwich stack you can use stencils for some light embossing. It's a great way to add a subtle little something to your card. The next level up is Grout Grey over-stamped with the Typewriter Text Background stamp.
It has been entirely too long since I've had a chance to play in the Wednesday Stamp Club for My Favorite Things. If you haven't played along, you can look forward to a new sketch posted on the MFT Blog every Wednesday. Add your version of the sketch to the link-up widget and you'll have a chance at the weekly prize. You can also reference the past sketches whenever you're feeling the need for a creative jump start!
Here's this week's sketch, I hope you'll play along with me. Find more details, links to other cards with this sketch as well as the previous 157 sketches on the MFT Blog.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. I'll see you tomorrow for the MFT Release Rewind!
