I'm back again with a card for this month's My Favorite Things Color Palette Challenge. This month, My Favorite Things challenges you to pair Blu Raspberry, Lemon Drop and Kraft. Now, I will tell you that this was not a color combination I would have put together on my own, but can I say that now that I tried it out, I LOVE it.
Of course since it's MFT Release Countdown time, I'm using lots of new goodies in my card today! The new Striped Background stamp is amazing! Depending on how you place it you can have vertical, horizontal or diagonal stripes. Look how cheery this Lemon Drop is! Happy right?
My BluRaspberry layer was cut using the very largest Fishtail Flags STAX (I just trimmed off the top) and this cute flower embellishment was created using the tiny flower and leaves included in this month's Blueprints 12. The flower was cut from Sweet Tooth felt and then I added a small Lemon Drop button to the center. I adore the font in the new Forget Me Not stamp set from Lisa Johnson - this is such a beautiful sentiment.
My layout today is courtesy of the Mojo Monday Sketch - it's a fun and very layered sketch this week, enjoy!
Here are the links to the products I'm using today - I really DO hope you'll play along!
Thanks for stopping by today!
