Easter Wishes - MFT Release Countdown Begins

While it is freezing in Boston, my yard is covered in a sheet of snow and ice, I assure you, Spring is coming. I promise! I for one can not wait.  To cheer you while we wait for the coldest winter ever to end…. the new release from My Favorite Things is loaded with springy goodness! Today I'm going to kick off my Release Countdown previews for you with an Easter Card.

All of us on the MFT Design Team will be showcasing cards, pages and projects with the newest elements which will be released on Tuesday, March 11th at 10pm EST.  Remember to check the MFT Blog every day for full stamp and Die-namics graphics & links to all our participating designers.  You'll also want to be sure to head on over each day to place your entry on the SEVEN prize vouchers valued at $75 each.  A little extra spending money sure would come in handy with a release this incredible!

Today's card uses the gorgeous new Blueprints 13.  You all know how I love the Blueprints collection, and this set is a must have.  This set includes a fabulous main panel that you will use again and again. Use it to cut perfectly crisp main panels with this stunning stitched edge.  Love it.  The fishtail banner and bracket banner layer perfectly and are great card making staples.  If you didn't already know, the Blueprints Die-namics include a downloadable sketch file, I've used one of the sketches to put together today's card.  I love that Blueprints take all the work out of card designing so you can just focus on what colors and stamps you want to use.  What a breeze!

This month MFT is also releasing not one, but TWO gorgeous cling rubber backgrounds.  If you visit here a lot you know I'm obsessed with these.  Today I'm using the new Wood Plank Background.  I've stamped it with Sweet Tooth Ink to Pink Lemonade card stock.

This pretty springy Easter basket is from Lisa Johnson's new stamp and Die-namics titled Easter Bunny. The stamps and Die-namics are sold separately.  I love the way she's designed the blooms, centers and leaves as independent elements, clear stamps make it easy peasy to perfectly align and the arrangement is so cute.

I stamped the leaf pattern from More Washi Patterns on the fun washi element that is included in Blueprints 13. This rounded out my use of Gumdrop Green in the sketch, I like to try to balance using three of the accent color - green leaves, green fishtail, green wash stamping.

I hope you'l hop on over to the MFT Blog to see what everyone else on the team has put together for you today, and I'll be back tomorrow with another card to share. Have a wonderful day!

You'll find links to the products I've used today just below, the links to the NEW products will be active with the new release on March 11th at 10pm. Thank you!

Love the softness of your card. I have not purchased any of the blueprints, as I really did not take the time to realize what they were. I now get it - I think this Blueprint 13 is amazing and am definitely going to get this one.
