It's time for a little Deconstructed Sketch and in my ongoing quest to coax spring along with a cheerful color palette on the blog, I've got a sweet little springtime sentiment from Suzy Plantamura today called Spring Has Sprung. To anyone that hasn't already noticed...I've used the daylights out of the new Wood Plank Background stamp. Today it has been stamped to Gumdrop Green card stock using Sweet Tooth ink.
To switch things up a bit, I stamped the sentiment with Nightshift Blue ink, it's a refreshing change from black ink, don't you think? The pink layer was stamped with the Striped Background using Sweet Tooth ink. I love mixing and layering these backgrounders, go ahead and collect them all to stamp your own patterned paper.
Lately I've been hooked on that soft and shabby look of the edge distressing. Crumpled fuzzy edges. Do you all get stuck on a crafty tangent like me? What's your new crafty must-do?
Some people are wary of off kilter panels in their sketches but that doesn't phase me at all. However, this baby feels just bare naked to me with the whole bottom right side exposed like that. But you know what, that's the beauty of a sketch challenge, go ahead and try something new. You might just like it!
I hope you'll head over to visit each of the Deconstructed Sketch Girls
to see what they've been up to with this week's sketch.
This week's sketch is his week’s sketch is sponsored by Sugar Pea Designs! One lucky sketch participant will win their choice of stamp set from the Sugar Pea Designs Shop!! Be sure to check the Deconstructed Sketch Blog for ALL the details!

Nice card...I am so ready for Spring!
Very pretty Joanne!! I love the colours!!
This is lovely! I love that color palette and your wonderful distressed edges. LOL I am forever finding myself latching on to a technique and using it over and over, right now it's my sewing machine that I pulled back out, that and attempting the collage look which I really struggle with - too much clutter makes me a bit twitchy but I love it when others do it well!
