Release Rewind - Magical Memories

Since My Favorite Things has such enormous product releases there are always a few things that I didn't get to play with, or that I didn't get to play around with enough - I've got one of each variety this evening. Thank goodness for the Release Rewind. It's a chance for me to clean up my desk and see what needs to be stamped with before I clean up and get everything filed into their proper categories in my stamp room.

Tonight is the MFT Release Rewind, you'll find a list of all the designers with a little something special to share over on the MFT Blog. If you haven't had a chance to check out all the new release elements I hope you'll head over to see all that is NEW at MFT.

For my first card today, I gave the new stamps and Die-namics from Laina Lamb a workout.  I've paired the Magical Memories Die-namics with the Magical Memories Stamp Set.  You may have noticed but I'm perfectly obsessed with Blueprints 13 and this sketch in particular.  I've used the classic Disney colors Red (Red Hot), Black (Black Licorice) and Yellow (Lemon Drop).

If you're a Disney Fan and a Project Lifer, well the possibilities with this set are just about endless.
Today I have created a quick little card to celebrate the Happiest Place on Earth! These Blueprints Die-namics make such quick work of card making, I LOVE THEM!

Might I add that in the event you're not a Disney person, these Die-namics work equally well to document memories of a different variety - just switch out your color selections.

My first card was a pretty bold one, my second is soft and shabby. This is the third time I've put Lisa Johnson's new Easter Bunny Stamp set and companion Easter Bunny Die-namics to use. I'm hoping I can coax spring along by creating lots of soft and lovely things. Do you think my plan will work?

This layout is courtesy of Karen Giron's Sweet Sunday Sketch challenge. I've used the Striped Background on my Pink Lemonade layer with Sweet Tooth Ink.  The very back layer, Fuse Green was stamped with Fuse Green ink using the Sheet Music Backgrounder.  See, you want to collect them all so you can mix and match.  I love the backgrounds.

A little triad of buttons is nestled over the main focal panel.  Pink Lemonade, Sno Cone and Natural.  Oh spring, please come to Boston!!  The flowers and leaves in Lisa's new set are so easy to lay into place, I stamp the leaves first, then pop the blooms into place, then add the small centers.  Easy peasy.

The leaves were stamped with Fuse Green, the blossoms with Pink Lemonade and the centers with Cotton Candy. The basket was stamped with Natural ink.  Stitched Circle STAX - how I adore you.

Here are the links to the products I've used today, thanks as always for stopping by:

You've used the Blueprints perfectly! I think your color choice is just great! The combination of Disney colors of your first card and the sweetness of the second is perfect!

Both cards are beautiful, Joanne! If making soft pretty things will make spring come along faster, then I will join along. :)
