Happy Blogaversary!! Featuring Unity Blog Candy!

Oh my goodness, this week has been a stamp marathon for me. I'm working on samples for the Gina K Designs release TONIGHT, wrapping up my creations for this month's Dirty Dozen gallery, working on Sponsor Spotlights for Stamp New England (which is NEXT FRIDAY!), stalking the MFT Stamping Idol contest, finishing my sample for Bellariffic Friday, and then this Blogaversary Celebration.  Its all good, but man, I'm tired!!

Today, I have a little Unity creation for you.  This is the Floral Fantastical stamp set which i colored with Copic Markers and used some of my Urban Prairie designer paper from Basic Grey (I simply ADORE that collection...)

I'm so happy today because the sun is shining and at last, there is NO snow in my yard (I pray it stays that way...I'm so done with snow...)

I do have some new Unity in the house, but I'm saving one for their GIANT Blog Hop on the 28th.  If you haven't already signed up, what are you waiting for, head on over to the Unity Blog (or follow my blinkie on the top right corner) and come join us!

I'm also working on a little Unity creation for an upcoming kit I'm designing for my LSS - I'm so excited my LSS is going to be carrying Unity! Hooray!!

I first heard about Unity from my friend Jen Del Muro at CHA last winter.  You could just feel the energy and passion at CHA that first year, you could just tell that they were going places!  Its been amazing to watch Unity grow and become such a HUGE phenomenon! Can you say "hip, hop?

If you have no idea what I'm talking about, then perhaps you've missed Unity's Thursday blog "hip-hop" through the Design Team sharing new creations.  Customers and Design Team members are always chatting in their forum on Thursdays - and there are always great deals and fantastic giveaways.  Oh, and lots and lots of laughs too.  They'll be starting around 10 am CST this morning. You'll want to start at the Unity Blog.

Since I was treating myself to a little Unity Love, I thought I'd share by sending one of YOU a little Unity love too!!  One winner, selected at random, will win both the Home and Stories and Feel the Joy stamps!  I'll announce the winner on Friday!

To enter this, the final giveaway of my Blogaversary Celebration simply post a comment on this thread by midnight on Thursday. I'd love to know what I can do for YOU - tutorials you'd like to see etc - I'm hearing yes you're interested in more tutorials, any direction on topics you're interested in??

Also, I've been debating about adding one of those c-box features - the question and answer gadget thingy...  do you have any questions I can help with?

Most of all, I just want to thank all of you that come to visit me.  If you know me in real life, you know I'm a total chatterbox and this place is no exception.  Sometimes I feel like I'm talking to myself, so its nice to hear from so many of you this week. Come on by and say hello now and again! Anyone up to listening to me babble for a third year?

Thanks!! I don't know how doable this is as a tutorial but one of the things I have the most trouble with is sizing!! When layering and using multiple pieces of paper, how do you know just what sizes to cut them to so it all looks proportional?? I hope that makes sense!!

What a darling card!
I use Copic markers and need all of the help I can get with how to use them.

LOL about talking to yourself! MANY times a day I wonder out loud if anyone is listening to me {my DH and kids... heck even the dog!}

Tutorials on 3D projects would be great and even though I might not have a question to ask with a c-box feature, I would surely stop and read what others might have to ask...

Happy Blogaversary once again and THANKS for the op to win... I XOXOX Unity!!!

Not sure what a c-box is but it sounds interesting! Everyone seems to have their own technique for coloring images with copics and this is an area that I could improve on so any tips would be helpful! Happy Blogaversary!

Oh I love tutorials. I would love to see how you use copics and what your favorite tools are. A trip around your studio. How you may use something that differs from the norm. I'd love to know more about layering.
Thanks for all the fun posts.

Love the C-box idea...as far as tutorials, I would love Copic tips, especially shading, I can't get it right. Love you blog! See you at the party tonight!

Tutorials, I always want to learn something new, or practice practice practice something I've seen & haven't mastered. Yeah! for seeing NO snow out the window, where I'm from that is an awesome site (the ground had a light dusting of the white stuff when I went to bed last night - it was gone by noon).

Keep on chatting. I love viewing your blog and get notification of updates. I don't have any unity yet. One of these days I will place an order. As far as what I want to see, just more of what you already do. Inspire me!

I don't own any Unity stamps...yet! Would love to change that! I like any tutorials. It's always fun to try new things. I think it's just nice to feel comfortable asking questions without feeling like you are the only one who doesn't know the answer!! Thanks for allowing us to do that. Keep your beautiful cards coming. I appreciate your blog.

Very pretty spring card ~ and I love that Basic Grey paper too. I don't have any specific requests for tutorials, anything you'd like to share would be great.

I'm quite new to paper crafting and love seeing tutorials on all types of things. If I had to pick, I would say boxes/bags to put goodies in. But I'm not picky any tutorial on paper crafting works for me. Thanks for the chance to win.

Babble away dear lady - it's music to my ears! And your creations are candy for the eye.

Thanks for sharing your talent for yet another year. And yes tutorials are always a good thing. As are reviews about what tools you like or were disappointed by and why or why not. Tips and tricks of any kind for those of us fairly new to stamping is also appreciated.

Gotta say I'm fairly new to Unity but I have to agree they ROCK! See you at the hop! - Jean

Joanne - I missed your deadline for posting because you have your Feedblitz delivery schedule set to where it isn't delivered to your subscribers until the day AFTER you post. Even though I've missed out on the drawing I still wanted to tell you I think your card is beautiful.
