I love Thursdays because they're always the official start to my weekend. But this weekend, is extra special. I'm headed to Nantucket for the weekend with my mother, grandmother, sister, niece, and my brother's girlfriend for a few days.
I'm so excited to just hang out with the girls, shop, eat at one of my favorite places and eeeks get a pedicure!
In honor of the Nantucket Daffodil Festival I turned my Hydrangea Bittybloom from Stamping Bella into a a daffodil girl. I saw my friend Karen pop up the dress like this on one of her cards last week and thought it was just SO cute that I copied it! I also stamped the bloom in her hat and the leaves twice and bent them forward for a little extra dimension.
My niece is pretty much going to look like this little sweetie. My mom knit her a little green sweater and a yellow floppy hat. My sister found her a little yellow dress. But for me, I just LOVE watching the ladies all decked out in all manner of daffodil garb. Seriously fantastic people watching. I can't wait.
This fun sketch is from Jen's Sketch for You to Try from last weekend. Thanks for stopping by today, I'm off to see if I can locate a single piece of yellow clothing in my closet. If not, its a fun excuse to hit the Gap on my way to the Cape!
