Sweet Matilda!

I've long admired this sweet Matilda Muffinbread from Stamping Bella and finally got around to picking her up in a recent order! Isn't she just so sweet hiding behind a treat that's larger than her head!  

I'm loving this My Minds Eye paper that I picked up recently at my LSS. (You might have noticed that because I'm 

using it on everything lately! ) The colors are just so me, I mean really its just like my treasured Soft Sky (yikes, I'm into my last few pieces....) from SU. 

I stamped Matilda once to white cardstock, then twice onto patterned papers.  I glued the first layer directly onto the stamped image on the white, but then glued a second layer of her skirt on top so that I could fold up the layers for extra dimension.  The bows are colored in white with a gel pen because I wasn't feeling up to cutting the pieces for those teeny bows!   I did however paper piece a sweet little matching headband to coordinate with her dress.
