Hooray for PI Preview Day!

Good morning! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! It was so nice to have lots of time with no major plans this weekend. Its been a while since we've had days like that. And for me, I got to squeeze in a whole bunch of stamping projects. Hooray!!

As I was sitting down to work on my sample, I ran across Jen's great sketch for this week. I swapped her little circle for a larger oval to accommodate this sweet little girl. And of course, since this little PI girl is holding a shamrock, I had to add some freckles to her cute little face!

I hope you don't mind my green and blues this week, I'm on a little scrap binge and loving these colors together. So, I'll forewarn you that you'll be seeing greens, blues, kraft and chocolate the next few days a lot...

While playing in my scrap pile, I ran across one half sheet of this adorable My Minds Eye paper and you'll be seeing it a lot the next few days. This next card features Little Miss PI with a little bit of happy mail.

Her little jumper is paper pieced with a scrap of Crate Paper that I found in my blue bin...

I adore the girl of course, but I just love the illustration of the mailbox and that sweet little bird. So much so that I inked up the stamp again, this time only inking the mailbox and the birdie so that I could finish off the inside of the card with the sentiment as well.

By the way, this would also be a super cute treatment if you wanted to make a coordinated envelope, just ink the mailbox and the birdie for the outside envie, and show Miss Cutie PI on the card inside.
