This week the challenge is Fold It Up! You can crumple it, rumple it, pleat it, whatever! Just add lots of texture to your project with some folding!
This is my sample using this adorable "Just My Type" from Stamping Bella's Vol 25 line. And... here's some examples of my folding on my project
I stamped the typewriter paper twice so that I could crumple and age the paper inside, rolling it forward (see the edges peeking out??)
And while it is hard to see here, I actually folded up the patterned paper, then flattened it out and sewed it down for extra texture.
The flower adornment I made for the project has crumpled text paper, then I rolled and tattered the edges, then painted the whole piece in a crackle medium (it is so cool in real life...)
Other ways to add folding include....pleating ribbon like I did here or pleating paper paper like I've done here....
The image is stamped to watercolor paper, and then painted with reinkers and a waterbrush. If you're not familiar with the technique, I've got a little video tutorial here. Once it was all dried, I added three coats of clear glaze to each of the typewriter buttons.
In case you hadn't seen the prize package, which will be awarded randomly... here's what's up for grabs!

I feel so honoured!!! I LOVED the krafty sewing challenge...must use kraft paper more often.
Your card today is spectacular...can't wait to see it IRL with all that texture!
I hate that I missed the chance to play last week. I love sewing and I love Kraft. Maybe I can find time this week. However it goes, I enjoy reading about it and seeing the entries.
Thanks for another fun challenge. I love how you made the paper hang out of the typewriter on your card. Very clever!

Love your card - that flower is yummy (I enlarged your card so I could see all the wonderful details!), and that paper coming out of the typewriter is just too much fun! Great job!

What a very cool card! I love the shiny keys, rolling paper coming out of the typewriter and that oh-so-cool flower embellie.
That is SO gorgeous! I LOVE that card! A LOT!
Loving all of your challenges... they have given me a great excuse to use my Pure Innocence stamps! Unfortunately, I seem to have lost 2, which I just realized during your last challenge :( Isn't that sad?!
