MFT Release is Now Available!

Thank you to all of you for spending the week with me prepping for the My Favorite Things New Release. I'm thrilled to say that all the items are NOW available in the MFT Boutique HERE!

I've prepared a HUGE post for you tonight which is just chock full of goodies.  I've made a complete and total disaster area on my desk in the meantime, I've had a blast preparing my samples for you tonight.  I'm focusing on this month's Triple Scoop Stamp Set:  Seasonal Sentiments. I'm in LOVE with this set.  This set will be free with any purchase of $60 or more (excluding tax and shipping) all you have to do is remember to add it to your cart, but it's so awesome, how could you possibly forget?

So, earlier today I showed you how much I love the Beautiful Bows Die-namics for felted bows. But guess what, they're also pretty beautiful cut from patterned paper.  I'd totally recommend hand delivering a card with one of these on it.  But don't let that stop you from making cards with these on them, because honestly, just check out that bow.  ....swoon....  To make it look like a real ribbon, I added it to a skinny width of the same patterned paper and then rolled the edges of the tails of the bow forward slightly.

The sentiment was stamped to the Polka Dot Greetings Die-namics and then given a nice coating of Distress Ink all around and I added bronze brads.  I like the sort of rustic handmade feel of this, and check it out, burlap patterned paper from Simple Stories. I *love* it.

Look though, the tiny version of the bow is equally adorable. I added it to a smaller sized Traditional Tags STAX.  I added a tiny hanging tag for the "to" information for this gift tag.

Okay, so those first two shares were sort of rustic feeling. How about a cheery bright one?  I'm using the Mojo Monday sketch this week as my inspiration and these fun papers from Echo Park.

My little flower embellishment is from the Flower Medley Die-namics and I paired with the Royal Leaves Die-namics and a Red Hot Button. As it turns out, the Rounded Banner Die-namics was just the shape I needed to polish off that little tab under the circle as directed in the sketch. Gosh I love that my collection of Die-namics really helps me to solve sketches.  Yippee!  And now my Fishtail Flags collection is just perfect with the addition of the Fishtail Flags Layers STAX.

MFT Felt.  YUM.  I love the way that Die-namics cut this stuff like butter.
For fun, try tying the bow behind the button and then gluing in place.

I had so much fun with the black and red combination that I kept all the materials out and went for another card.  The Flower Medley and Royal Leaves Die-namics that I had leftover from the first card were put together in another combination for a second card, I don't often make cards in this "sideways" layout, and gosh I really should do that more often...

If you haven't taken a close look at the gorgeous font selections in this set, here's a peek.  I *adore* the way that this sentiment was laid out, I've used Brilliance Black ink here for a nice crisp coating.

And guess what my friends, I've been busy scrapping again.  I really ADORE the new elements included this month as part of the Laina Lamb Design collection.

I wanted to share with you that this set is also equally perfect for scrapbooking.  I am using the Project Life page protectors here and started off a December page.  These are just iPhone pictures from last Christmas, oh goodess, just starting this page I already can't wait to set up the Christmas Tree.  Look at those twinkly lights.  Love. Love. Love.

Here's a look at how I've combined the elements for each of the pockets:

Seasonal Sentiments paired with the Polka Dot Greetings Die-namics.  Let it Snowflake Die-namics cut from Whip Cream Felt and accented with a Hot Fudge button which was tied with a Hemp Cord bow.

Check it out, the Insert It Die-namics makes a great photo matting!  I stamped the word"Advent" from December Document It stamped to the Accent It Flags and Tags.

I created another tiny tag, it was just the perfect size for my little 4x6 cards and the sentiment matches perfectly with my twinkly tree.  The bow was cut from felt and adhered to the outside of the page protector.  I love that the felted bows won't crush when you have them in a book like this.

I added the Journaling card which I created by cutting a piece of Whip Cream Cardstock with the Insert It Die-namics and then stamped with the ledger paper, numbers 1-10 and "December Tradition."  I accented with the little check mark from Accent It Flags and Tags affixed to the outside of the page protector.  Simply Scallops Die-namics adds a little trim.

How can you celebrate Christmas without a little cookie baking and decorating, and yum, cookie eating. I used the Howdy Frames Die-namics for the "cookies" title, and the little Fishtail elements from the Accent It Flags and Tags (just look how nicely those nest together. Perfect.)

The Traditional Tags STAX makes a fun photo matting.  I added a little embellishment cut from the Accent It Flags & Tags (doesn't it resemble a tiny award ribbon?) A Hemp Corded, Hot Fudge Button is affixed to the outside of the page protector with hot glue.

Phew! Thanks for sticking through this marathon post with me.  I hope you found a few ideas here and that you have a blast shopping over at My Favorite Things.
