MFT New Release is HERE!

I've mentioned before, but I love mixing and matching my older stamps with my newer stamps. After all, I didn't have enough time to play with the January Release and there were some treasured items in that release too!

I have a giant post to share with you tonight, I've had lots of fun getting ready for this month's release. You'll find ALL of the new items HERE in the MFT Boutique.  Remember to leave a little love on each of the participating designers blogs, for your chance to win a gift voucher - you'll find the list of participating designers on the MFT Blog.

Up first, I have a 12x12 scrapbook page to share with you.  My kids have really been excited about me scrapping again.  Whenever I complete a page, I'm sure to leave it out for them to look at before I file it into the scrapbook. It's nice to see that they like the pages, because they're getting fed up with me having a camera in their faces all the time.

I mixed and matched my Laina Lamb Design stamps and that beautiful Large Heirloom Rose Die-namics  and the Large Leaf-Filled Flourish.  These oversized elements are simply perfect for scrapbooking or home decor.

I have my sister to thank for this page, because it's thanks to HER that I'm actually in the photo for a change!

The Laina Lamb Journal It - Library Card was used for adding "This is a great story." I have to go back and add some handwritten journaling about our winter beach walk.  We had such a great time watching the waves and collecting shells on the beach, the boys loved having the beach to themselves.  They were a little less in love with my constant photo taking....

Do you spy the Photo Corner Die-namics peeks out from behind my photo?  Those babies are a great standby.

The little tab up on the top right hand corner is from Flags and Tabs, released last month, I found "November" in my Calendar Basics set.  I stamped and then fussy cut the arrow that says "do you follow me?" from the Right this Way stamp set.  Then using Lead the Way I die-cut an arrow from Kraft cardstock. I quickly stamped the houndstooth (I am obsessed with this stamp!) from Spring Backgrounds using MFT Black Licorice ink.

I continue to LOVE the Boy Meets Girl Die-namics, I added a small row of the boy/girl cutouts just below the journaling block.

If you haven't picked up any MFT Buttons, these Natural ones are a favorite. I find that they go with just about everything!

Moving on, let's talk about the Laina Lamb Design - 3x4 Pocket - I super love it!

I wanted to remind you that even if you're not into scrapbooking, that these Laina Lamb Design elements are also pretty fabulous for cardmaking.  I'm excited to share that this 3x4 Pocket is pretty outstanding for a little card enclosure.

I've paired the new 3x4 Pocket and the sweet Library Card Stamp Set with a sentiment from Off the Chart (that's where I grabbed "I love us" and the "you + me".  I added a little embellishment with the Mix and Match Banners.  The houndstooth print from the Spring Backgrounds was stamped to the smallest of the Heart STAX.

This could be a valentine's card, or even an anniversary card. The little flag element was cut with the Mix and Match Banners (I love the zig-zag end on that one...)  I added a small heart embellishment cut from the Heart STAX and then stamped with the Spring Background.

The balance of the sentiment here was stamped with the Library Card Stamp Set....  The bright pop of pink is from the pretty MFT Razzleberry Ink

Before I wrap it up, how about another peek at Clearly Sentimental: You Make My Day.

If you didn't already pick up You Make My Day as part of the Triple Scoop rewards last month, I'd love you to take another look at this set. After all, it's filled with really sweet sentiments for those all purpose, thinking of you, type cards.  I've paired mine with one of my beloved Fishtail Flags and a trio of Mini Royal Roses.

Here's my last project for today.  I've had this card idea in my mind since I first saw the set.  The sentiment "I knew I liked you Before I Met You" has been making me think of my kids.  I think this would be absolutely incredible for a scrapbook page, but tonight I'm sharing this idea as a little scrappy card.

I've used the InstaFrame to frame my son's ultrasound photo (ps, I didn't use the actual photo, I printed a copy so that the real one is still safe and sound)  I used the Labels and Tabs to add a little file folder type accent.  I stamped his name using the tiny alphabet found within the Typewriter Alphabet.

The button was cut with the new Button Border Die-namics, and then stamped with you know what, the Spring Background houndstooth (oh, please trust me on this one, you'll use it on everything!)  - check it out, I'm using the chevron pattern on the Heart STAX!   I also added a teeny, tiny clothespin was tied with a bit of red baker's twine.

Remember, all the new products are NOW available in the MFT Boutique!
Here are quick links to the products I've used in tonights projects!
