Celebrate Good Times with My Favorite Things New Release!

Since we were away on vacation, I didn't get as much time to stamp as I would have liked, so I got to printing some photos and working on a scrap page! Many of this month's release elements are birthday focused, but you know what, that doesn't mean you can't multi-purpose. I love being able to use my supplies in bunch of "other" ways!

The new Celebrate Die-namics is fabulous, I totally adore it! It's quite similar to the Story Titles Die-namics that I so adore, and it's perfect not only for birthday celebrations, but for happy occasions of all varieties.  For my layout, I've gone nautical and Americana to document our July 4th Holiday.

As you can see, you can add a quick and easy page title - today I've chosen "Good Times"  I've cut the Pierced Circle STAX from Kraft Card Stock and matted with a Circle STAX cut from Night Shift Navy Card Stock.   Since it was a seaside vacation, I accented with the Sea Charms Die-namics and a little bit of Hemp Cord.

You know what is so amazing about the Bitty Banners Die-namics?  It cuts three each of the three banner shapes with a single pass through your cutting machine. It's such a time saver when you need multiples. I cut it once with Electric Red Card Stock and once with Night Shift Navy Card Stock and then lifted the edges of the banners slightly rolling them up to add a little dimension.

I used just the "happy" from the Happy Birthday Die-namics nested inside a set of Pierced Circle STAX and Circle STAX Die-namics.   I cut the "4" from the Big Birthday Numbers Die-namics from some sparkly silver glitter paper.

Here's a look at the full page. My kids were thrilled to come home from summer camp to find this layout waiting for them.

Now, that was a sort of busy layout, but this Celebrate Die-namics also makes some pretty fabulous clean and simple cards.  I cut the word "love" from my silver glitter cardstock, and added it to an Red Hot Card Stock matting.  It's all sitting on top of a Steel Grey Card Stock cardbase.  All it needed was just a bit of hemp cord tied through a coordinating Red Hot Button

If you read here a lot, you might know that I have a penchant for making gift tags.  The Celebrate Die-namics a great little size for happy birthday tags.

To begin, I diecut the Traditional Tags STAX as a base from both Kraft and Black Licorice card stocks.  Then I cut "Happy" from the new Free with $60 stamp set "You're Invited" across the body of the Black licorice tag.  The sentiment "happy" was added with Versamark ink then embossed with white embossing powder.

The flowers are one of my favorites, the Layered Rose.  The petals were given a soft ruffle with a stylus.  The leaves are cut from Factory Green with the Royal Leaves Die-namics

A little bit of Razzleberry Grosgrain and a coordinating button make it ready to be affixed to a gift bag in a jiffy.  I love having a few of these for gifts-on-the-go.

I hope you'll check out all the fun new release items from My Favorite Things!
