In case you missed the news My Favorite Things has just had a HUGE new release for the month of December. Today I have a few more cards to share with you as part of our Release Rewind.
I couldn't leave this adorable Close Knit Pure Innocence uninked, she's ADORABLE. Both my mom and sister are knitters, so this one is just perfect for my family. Paired with my trusty Typewriter Text and the Woodgrain Background I sat down to my crafty table to explore. This week's Sweet Sunday Sketch challenge was just perfect, only I flipped the orientation.
If I haven't already convinced you to pick up both of these backgrounders, maybe you need just one more card to showcase how perfectly they go together.
I'm using the Pierced Rectangle STAX with the Rectangle STAX as a matting. I was able to find three coordinating buttons in my Sno Cone bag of buttons. Is there a color of MFT Buttons you don't own yet? Well go ahead and tuck them into your shopping cart and Santa can add them to your stocking, he's nice like that.
The PI sentiments are always adorable and usually there's a cute pun (or two) in there. I flipped the sketch back the way it was designed to finish the inside of my card.
I'm also sharing a card made with Mona's new Damask Designs Stamp Set and the coordinating Damask Designs Die-namics. The Chocolate Brown ink released last month is simply gorgeous, I love how crisp it looks on the kraft paper. The sentiment was pulled from Grand Greetings from Lisa Johnson Designs.
I added a flower embellishment with the Mini Hybrid Heirloom Rose - I added a large self adhesive pearl to the center. These large leaves are from the Layered Leaves Die-namics cut from Fuse Green card stock, today I've used just the embossed leaves, not the coordinating overlay. Love the versatility of those dies which give a few different looks in the same set.
Here are links to all the products I've used tonight, thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you'll go grab yourself a few items from the MFT Boutique! Enjoy!
