Blog Candy - and Folio Directions

I noticed this morning that I'm closing in on 15K posts! Thank you everyone for dropping by to visit. I'm going to offer up my my most recent Stamp Club sample which you can see here. Its a card folio which contains four note cards and four stamped envelopes. The folio uses the Uptown Designer paper and Wild Wasabi double stitched ribbon.

The directions for making a folio for anyone that might be interested are below.
To enter, please leave a comment on this post. I'd like to know what new Stampin Up designer paper you like the best. I love the Cutie Pie collection and we'll be using it in my next month's project club class! I'll be collecting posts till Monday at noon and then will use Random.org to select a winner.

Supplies Needed:

2 pieces colored cardstock 8 ½ x 11 m (one is for the folio, one forthe notecard accent color)
1 piece neutral colored cardstock
4 envelopes
Designer Paper or stamps to decorate folio front
Ribbon
Hole Punch

Folio:
Score one piece colored cardstock at 2 inches up (holding paper the long way up and down)
Score again at 5 ½ (holding paper the long way sideways) so that it folds in half.
Fold on score lines and using a hole punch, make a small hole in each pocket to place ribbon for closure.
Embellish folio front with designer paper or stamps as desired.

Notecards:
Neutral colored notecards are trimmed at 4 x 5 ¼
Accent color is trimmed at 4 ¼ x 5 ½
Stamp card the neutral card, apply a monogram, or a strip of designer paper

Have a great weekend!

Congrats on approaching the 15K marker! Choosing the paper is tough...it's a toss up between Darling Doodles and Linen Prints!

Congrats on your hits. Of course I love all the SU papers, but I would say my fav would be Darling Doodles and Cutie Pie. Thanks so much for a chance.

I also love the Cutie Pie Paper and have it - but have yet to use it. Some kind of hoarding instinct often prevents me from using my DP, Hodgepodge etc. It may be months or more before I actually crack open and use my Pretties kit!!
The folio looks awesome!!

I got my catalog, sorta looked thru it and then stuck it away with notes and cannot find it in my remodel mess, I have never purchased SU papers. Hey, once I had over 15000 pennies, I sat one weekend during the playoffs (NBA) and rolled them and then found out my stupid bank has a Coin star! I donated teh pennies to Special Olympics and Unicef.

My favorite is the paper design that you can pick your own colors in. I am going to be buying some of that for Christmas presents I will be making.
