Flower Filled!!

Tonight was the launch of Gina K's new spring sets. Sniff sniff, I missed the launch party - this time change thing has me all a mess! We also went to hear Suze Orman speak which was so great by the way.



In any case, I had my fingers crossed that they would arrive before I left for CHA and I seriously jumped for joy when I looked outside and saw that my box had arrived. I had already made a special trip to my LSS to pick up some paper in advance. It the new line of, you guessed it, Scenic Route paper called Lynden.

This set titled Baskets of Happiness is SO fun to color with my copics. The image is stamped on Shimmery White with Brilliance Chocolate Pearlescent ink.


I left lots of open room here to give some shadow on the flowers and then deepened one side of every petal for shadowing. One side of the flower pot was lightened up using my colorless blender pen. I'm totally a stalker over at the copic booth here at CHA!!!
