Thirty Again - Blog Candy

Who wants to help me celebrate turning Thirty (that is, thirty again....my friends know how old I'll really be, but a lady never shares her real age right???)

I just received my comp copy of Card Creations Volume Six and its always just such a rush to see your work in print!  Even my kids yelled "That one is YOURS Mom!"  Ahhh well trained children.

I'm also going to offer up a $30 gift certificate to either Gina K Designs, or My Favorite Things to the winner as well as my extra copy of "Card Creations Volume Six".  The winner will be selected at random and will be announced the winner Saturday night so that the winner can celebrate with their little shopping spree on Sunday.  If your profile isn't linked up, be sure to include your email address so I can let you know if you are the winner!

Here's all you need to do to win... tell me your favorite technique.  Markers, watercoloring, embossing etc.  Give me the scoop!  (don't forget your email address so I can find you if you're the winner, I always feel badly when the prize gets redrawn because I can't FIND you!)

Oh, fun! Happy Birthday! My favorite technique to to probably use my COPICs with different colors and the colorless blender. Very fun!

Happy 30th birthday! This is a great giveaway to celebrate your milestone birthday (once again).

At first I wasn't sure if I'd like it but now I can't stop embossing. To me cards just seems way more finished and fancy with images and words that are embossed. Love it.

Thanks for the chance to win!

Happy Birthday!! Thanks so much for the chance to win! My fave techniques are definitely colouring with copics as well as distressing.

Oh, to be thirty again!!!! (Considering my oldest DS is now 30, I can't get away with this any longer!!! LOL!!!)
I hope you have a wonderful birthday!!!
One of my favorite techniques is using the Prismacolor Pencils and the Keh-i-noor pencils with the OMS (I just got my pencils and am having a blast playing), and also trying to master the Copics!!

Unknown said...

Happy Birthday!

I think my favorite technique changes from week to week. Heat embossing is generally up there though. I love how it's so quick and simple (even if a little messy)and it helps with so many other techniques.

Again, have a happy birthday!

At first let me send you some merry birthday wishes :)
How to decide what's my favorite technique as I'm new at cardmaking .. I haven' decided yet.. I'm using Tria markers quite a lot, but also like using water brush with acrilics.
Embosing I haven't tried yet :) Maybe I'll like it most :)

HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Joanne! Hope you'll be celebrating in a very special way!

My favorite technique? Probably one one I tend to overuse ... Paper Piercing.

Karen Motz said...

Happy Birthday and congratulations on being published. I can't imagine any magazine not wanting your stuff.
I LOVE watercolouring, with just about any medium, but I also love paper piecing. I'm one of the strange people who actually likes cutting things out. :)

Happy Birthday to You!!! It would have to be copics and my pencils. I love using both of them. The other thing is nesties - they just add the perfect touch to a card. Have fun celebrating 30 again! Thanks for a chance to win. :)

Happy Birthday. My favorite technique is doing anything with ribbon, is that a technique? But I love to add ribbon to my cards.

Hope this is your best 30th birthday yet!!! Congrats on the publication and thanks for sharing the fabulous blog candy!

I'm much too fickle to have a favorite technique, but every time I make a card using poppin' pastels, I think, "Gosh, I forgot how great this looks; I should use it more often." But then of course I put my pastels away and forget about them for another month or two :-).

Happy Birthday! :-) And what a great way to celebrate with a publication and sharing some stamping joy! You're too sweet! :-)

My favorite technique to use is probably paper piecing. I'm not so good at the coloring and paper piecing is almost like paper dolls - which I *loved* as a child. :-)

Happy birthday again and congrats on the pub! Thanks for sharing the love and the chance to win!

Happy Birthday! Thirty is such a lovely age that I have high hopes for its multiples as well. I'm looking forward to seeing it again 10 years from now.

Technique? hm..... I do love making up my own custom glossy sheets with sponge and ink but...Well lately it's dry embossing with my trusty stylus and Classy Brass both current and years past. Then along came the Sizzix machine and cuttlebug folders...and soon the Big Shot will reach my studio but even so my love affair with stylus and light box will continue and as long as the electricity holds out I'll continue to warm my fingers over my trusty light box with stylus in hand.

Thanks for sharing your journey with stamps inks and everything in between. - Jean
