Out on a Limb

I am going to pretend that there isn't a blizzard going on right outside my window. Because as I mentioned earlier today, I am thinking spring!

Today we're up to our FIFTH sketch for the My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club - and I must say, I think I could use this sketch about a million times - its so fun!
Did you see that MFT has awarded a prize at random to one participant who played in each of the January sketches? Well, now that we've begun the February sketches, you'll have another chance at that bonus prize!

Be sure to submit your card to the SCS galleries using the keyword each week - there is a $15 prize each week, and then there will be a chance at another $15 prize for those folks that have played along in EVERY sketch during the month of February! Pretty sweet right?

I'm usually flat out terrible at masking, but I had fun masking off my little PI girl and adding in the two trees. This fun set is titled "Out on a Limb"

And I wasn't quite ready to put my Die-namics Simply Scallops into my storage bin just yet. It was still laying on my desktop... and doesn't it look ca-uuute with a little stitched border down the center?

I'm on a roll finishing off the insides of my cards as well. This time I used the new Butterflies Die-namics. Sweetness! I love that you can bend the wings forward for added dimension. And it is a sweet little surprise on the inside of the card.

Be sure to check the MFT Blog for a full list of designers playing along today, and also, you'll want to be sure to play along for your chance at PRIZES! Please join us on the MFT Forum for our weekly chatter thread. Lots of inspiration, lots of laughs too! Hope to see you there!

Joanne,
I love this. The colors are great and it makes me long for spring. It's not just snowing out my window - it's sleeting. The masking you did on this is great. This is a darling image. The little PI girl looks great in an apple orchard (or other place with trees.) She just got added to my wish list for new MFT products. Stay warm. Keep posting!
