Now that we've got the business taken care of, I'm ready to share TWO sets that I am FULLY in love with. The first is Own Your Story which is packaged with the Four Point Frame Die-namics Die. This stamp set is HUGE and offers so many possibilities. Today I've stamped the notepad paper with a light grey ink, and then stamped the sentiment "You're My Type of Chick."

I love this highly stylized and distressed typeface.... awesome. Then I added the leaf border to the bottom with an olive chalk ink. I loved this fun vintage typeface with these new vintage style papers. I rolled the corner edges of the woodgrain paper, and then added a bit of vintage trim and grosgrain ribbon.

This set is AMAZING and you'll love the possibilities, so many great sentiments, and graphical elements to add to your projects. I have TWO MORE samples using this set, but I'm saving them for the blog hop!

Okay, are you ready for the next set that I'm loving? Can you believe I have three samples today with NO coloring. I know, I'm shocked. This is a preview of a few new Die-namics Dies as well as a new stamp set Typewriter Alphabet. This set features a complimentary type style to Own Your Story, and includes both upper and lowercase alphas, as well as numeric characters and lots of great multi-purpose elements too. You'll have to peek around the design team previews to see what I mean by that. ;-)

Here's a little closeup of the newest banner die to our collection. I've diecut the scalloped pieces from woodgrain paper, and the polka dots from the straight edge. The circular elements, both the circle and the scalloped circle are part of this Die-set as well. I added tiny eyelets with the help of a paper piercing mat and my crop-o-dile.

Do you see the new Die-namics Open Scallop Doily peeking out on this project too? Oh my goodness, this is certainly my favorite doily within our collection yet. Loopy scalloped edges, dotted accents. Fabulous.

As I mentioned, today is the beginning of the My Favorite Things Guest Designer Challenge, and this is my sample for the challenge. This month's challenge is to get your shabby chic on, and that is a style I just LOVE. Actually, I've got a few more samples coming in that style this week. But as they are teasers, I can only show this one today.... I can't wait to see YOU put your shabby chic to work for your chance to become this month's guest designers!

But, because I was having so much fun, and because I had a birthday card to make, I gave it another spin- this time, I went with a long card, sized for a business sized envelope.

I'm thrilled with the ability to stamp my own ledger paper (with the stamp from Own Your Story) I didn't want plain white circles for my type, so I stamped lightly with a grey ink to get the ledger paper lines, then diecut the circles, then stamped the letters into each circle....

Note: The banners don't come with eyelet holes, but that's what a pokey stick and a piercing mat is for, right? Easy peasy!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I'll see you tomorrow with another Teaser for MFT's April release!

Wow, I had to go back and look closer in when I saw your comment - These look so cool, it didn't hit me that the coloring was 'au naturel' until you said it. Great job!
