May Teaser Time: Day Three

Welcome back to Day Three of Teasers for the upcoming release from
My Favorite Things on Tuesday, May 3rd!

The new Pure Innocence stamp sets are being previewed today.....
always a favorite right?

I'm still on a kick with this Picket Fence paper from Lily Bee. Check it out girls, I'm getting brave with my "purple phobia." I even picked up both of the new purple cardstocks from MFT - I'm using the Grapsicle here....

This sweet image is Lily of the Valley the next in the Pure Innocence Year of Flower series. I kept her shoes plain white (they're white patent leathers right?) and drew in a little grounding line....

You'll see I reached for my Notched Tag Die-namic and stamp set again. I think its going to be seeing a lot of action on the stamp table..... here's another of those teeny tiny elements, this time, the tiny butterfly cut from the Grapesicle cardstock.

How about a BOY card today? I don't make those nearly enough
especially as a mother of two boys
.....

My kindergartener was headed off to a birthday party over school break, and we needed to put together a card for him to bring along with the gift. He was pretty excited when he found this new Pure Innocence: Skater Boy in my collection. Perfect timing, MFT to the rescue!

Pattern paper is Cosmo Cricket Social Club with Kraft Matting on a black cardstock base....

and of course, if you're going to make a dark card base, you need to finish off the inside so you can actually see the writing on the inside. I've added "Happy Birthday Dude" and stamped the image again in a watermark style.... just enough space for my kindergartener to scrawl, I mean print, his name. :-)

by the way....I love this Open Zig Zag Border Die-namics for boyish cards.

I've got two more PI samples for you... but they're tucked away for now...... One is going to be my card for the New Release Shop Hop! By the way, I hope you'll join us Tuesday at 10pm when we take the full line of new goodies out for a spin! The other is my sample for this week's Wednesday Stamp club. See, we've ALWAYS got something going on for you over at MFT!

What's your favorite set so far this week?

Both of your cards are terrific Joanne, but I especially like how the DP you selected for your first card compliments the white flowers the cute little PI girl is holding.
