Happy Birthday MFT Lady!

Today we're having a Birthday Blog MOB
for my sweet friend KIM!

You all know her as the MFT Lady!

.......Is it just me, or would you love to be part of a flash mob? Well I think this is the next best thing.....

Kim's actual birthday is July 5th, but we thought we'd get the party kicked off nice and early!  The best part, is that by doing it early, we're leaving LOTS of time for you to join us in wishing her a happy day!

This is a HOP from the entire My Favorite Things Design Team - if you didn't start at Arlene's blog, then be sure to head on over so you don't miss any of our stops today!

If you'd like to join the celebration, we'd LOVE you to participate!

You can add a card to the Splitcoast Galleries using the keyword "HBMFTLADY" or, if you're a Facebook lovin' girl you can add your project to the MFT Fan Facebook page!  Not yet a fan of MFT on Facebook? You can "like" it here and add your post!

Don't have time to stamp?  Just stop by the MFT Facebook page and wish the MFT Lady a happy birthday.  Let's MOB her on her special day!!

Today I've inked up a little Pure Innocence: Rose for Kim added a little paper pieced dress and of course, a little Simply Scallops Die-namics trim.

The next stop on today's Birthday Mobbing for Kim is

If you get a chance we'd LOVE to have you play along and create something special for one of MY FAVORITE PEOPLE!

Welcoming a "Fairy Sweet" Designer!

Tonight we have a fun announcement over at My Favorite Things!

I'm thrilled to say that one of my very favorite designers is joining the team!
I love her sense of color, I love her layered designs and she's SO super sweet.

I've admired her style for a long time, and was tickled pink when she
was a winner of our Guest Designer Challenge....

Tonight we're happy to announce that she's joining the team, and will be with us tomorrow
when our July Teasers will begin for the next release!

You'll have to click on over to the MFT Blog to see WHO it is that is joining us tonight.
And of course you'll HAVE to go congratulate that fairy sweet girl!

Today's project features Pure Innocence: Fairy Girl as well as the Die-namics Fresh Cut Grass, Little Open Scallop Strip, the Clouds Die-namics and the Button Quartet.  I love me some Die-namics right?
See you tomorrow when Teasers Begin!!

Turning the page....

You know what's great about the MFT Wednesday Stamp Club sketches? They're like an old friend, you can visit them anytime....this is the MFT Wednesday Stamp Club sketch #20 and its one of my favorites! So, I'm playing it again....

Today I've got a more masculine graduation card to share. I know, that's rare around here... but my little brother just graduated from Law School and a store bought card would certainly NOT do!

While this doesn't actually "say" graduation you get it... with the moving onto the future bit right?  I've stamped the text print and my favorite little leafy flourish to the Four Point Die-namic - both part of Own Your Story and the sentiment I actually stamped to the larger circle from the Sweet Stack

Lots of mixed stitching here, ledger and this fun crossword scrap I ran across.  And yes, ribbon on a guy card.  It needed something, and a distressed wrinkle ribbon it is.

Love you little brother, congratulations!
I'm SO stinkin' proud of you!

Edited to add: I'm trying to be better about naming my papers - when I can remember what they are, instead of just a scrap from the pile....  The green and ledger papers are Basic Grey Hello Luscious! Sorry! Last week was crazy getting ready for vacations!

Jun 27, 2011

Late June is Graduation Party time!  I have a few cards to share with this theme, today I'm sharing one I made for a friend who just graduated law school. I love how pretty this a la modes Grad Girl image is, and I love that its perfect for "grownup" who's graduating.

I went crisp and clean with lots of black and white from my scrap pile, I've got a newsprint - I figure she's got lots of reading to do this summer while she studies for the Bar Exam! And of course, lots of stitching because that's just how I roll.

Lots of copic grey's on this card. I've used C3 and C1 for her gown, shoes and cap and the W0 and W1 for the diploma.  I've got to add more greys to my collection - they're becoming *quite* handy.

Sigh. I've run out of this black saddle stitched ribbon again.  Grr.  I don't like when I run out of my favorites....  guess its time to buy more ribbon!  Have a great day, see you again tomorrow with another grad card.

MFT's VIP Kit!

I hope you're having a great time HOPPING along for our VIP Kit release. Did you start up at the MFT Blog? If not, take a swing over so that you don't miss a single project tonight!

This month, Who's that Girl is a beautiful mermaid!  Eeeks, she's soo spretty!  I had a blast creating a scene with the various elements, and if you love coloring, then this is an amazing set. If you don't particularly *love* to color, you can also do some fabulous paper piecing!  See... its all good!

Here is the latest VIP Kit:  Who's that Mermaid VIP

The VIP Kit is your chance to get your hands on the newest Who's That Girl two weeks ahead of her scheduled release.  And it comes with an EXCLUSIVE - as in never to be offered again - stamp set loaded with coordinating sentiments, and WA-HOO you also get the new  Large Rolled Rose two weeks before it is available to anyone else.

After I colored up my Who's That Girl, I gave her a coating of glitter and then applied Glossy Effects to her bodice!  You probably can't even see it here, but oh, its so shiny and dimensional in real life.

Patterned paper is from Pink Paislee, and I've added a bit of lace vintage trim and a scrunchy seam binding bow.

Your next stop on tonight's hop is Julie Dinn!

Have a great time hopping along and don't forget the two new a la modes are also available in addition to the new VIP Kit. Cute, cute stuff!

à la modes Teaser Time: You are Unrepeatable

Welcome to day TWO of Teasers for our mid month a la modes release!

Who doesn't love a little iTunes and rocking out to your favorite new song?  I will admit, I have a *problem* when I love a song, I play it about a hundred times in a row.  My kids get totally irritated "Mom... ENOUGH!" When we were little, my sister called it "Joanne-ing" a song.  Remember the days when you'd listen for the song to show up on the radio and then you'd RUSH to tape it?! You'd always miss the first few seconds, and heaven forbid the radio DJ be speaking while the song was starting.  Thank goodness you can now download to your hearts content!

Today on the My Favorite Things team we're sharing samples made with You are Unrepeatable
she'll be available tonight at 10pm EST along with our latest VIP Kit. You'll have to stop back in at 10pm EST for our little HOP to share the kit contents! Remember that the a la modes are now available in CLEAR like the rest of our stamps, you'll love the new price $9.00 each, and you'll love the crystal clear images!  These chickies are SO fun to color or paper piece.....

I've added a little Pretty Posies embellishment and a bit of scallop with my Die-namics Simply Scallops Medium.  See my little banner flag, its from the First Place Award Ribbon. Gosh I {heart} my Die-namics.

See you at 10pm EST for our VIP Hop starting at the MFT Blog.

à la modes Teaser Time: I've Met My Match

It is time for the a la modes Teasers to begin!

Have you had it with me and the skinny cards?  I'm sort of having fun with them, so I hope you have a lot of this sized scraps like I do!  Then you'll know why I'm working in this size a bunch lately.  Lots of "leftovers" in this size that are too good to waste. And besides, this tall and skinny image works just perfectly here.
We'll have Teasers for two new a la modes both today, and again tomorrow.  Then, we hope you'll join us for the MFT VIP Kit release Tuesday night at 10pm EST.  The VIP Kit is your chance to pick up the soon to be released Who's That Girl two weeks ahead of her ordinary release. You'll have to check back Tuesday night at 10pm EST to see what's included....

This cutie "I've Met My Match" image was stamped to MFT's Perfect Paper panel with Memento ink.  I've colored her with my Copic markers, and drew in some blades of grass. Tennis is one of those sports I wish I was good at, but I will admit to having terrible hand eye coordination.  My legs also don't go all the way up to my neck like this cute little thing.  *giggle*

Patterned papers are My Mind's Eye, I wanted something that was feminine but not too "girly" if you know what I mean!

Be sure to stop by the MFT Blog today for a full list of designers participating in previews today, and I'll see you tomorrow with another a la modes Teaser!

Happy Father's Day!

Today I have two little projects to share with you using the My Favorite Things First Place Award Ribbon.  It is a super handy little set, with tons of flexibility for whatever project you might be "needing" to check off your to do list.  And let me say, this is a FUN set to work with.

Using my crimper (remember those things, do you have one sitting in your "storage" area like me?)  I first cut the scalloped portion of the ribbon then ran in through my crimper, looks like corrugated cardboard now eh?

I stamped the star with Memento Canteloupe Ink and the Green Pinking circle with Versamagic Spanish Olive.  Patterned papers are from October Afternoon Five and Dime (loving that collection!)

I have a card for my husband from our painting challenge earlier in the week, but the boys and I thought it would be fun to make a wearable award ribbon for my hubby.  I dug out my denim scrap, a pin back and got to stamping.  This time I've used the little star border around the edge and staggered the words "Best Dad Ever" across the star in the center.

I hope that you all have a wonderful day today, I'm off to get a teapot started for the boys to bring a cup up to their dad!

CPS Sketch - What's Cooking?

Did you know that My Favorite Things is the sponsor for this weeks sketch on Card Positioning Systems?  This is CPS Sketch number 222, and as you'll see there are lots and lots of delicious layers! That's my kind of sketch....

You really *should* play along because there is a prize offered to one participant at random.....be sure to add your sample HERE.

I was itchy to stamp with my a la modes: What's Cooking stamp set, she's so pretty in her little apron.  This is going to be me for the rest of the summer, Monday was my first pickup at our CSA (farm share at the local family farm) and I'm going to be back into the swing of things washing and cooking all this delicious produce!

I thought these adorable Cosmo Cricket: Odds and Ends paper was just perfect for the stamp set.  I've paired the sketch with my Simply Scallops Die-namic and just a bit of Baker's Twine.

I hope you'll come play along with us this week - I know lots of girls on the Design Team have been working with this sketch.  Have a GREAT day!

MFT's Design Team Creative Challenge - Let's Paint

This month's Design Team Creative Challenge for My Favorite Things was to paint. I keep buying it at my local crafty stores, but then I'm too afraid to use it! I keep seeing it on the crafty blogs I read and I love the look, but then .... it just sits there on my shelf.....

I have been loving the mixed media - scrappy style and was excited to throw my hat in for this month's Design Team Creative challenge - Let's Paint!

This card is clean and simple looking, but eeesh, even those CAS cards don't come too quickly for me.  In fact, is it possible that they take me longer because I obsess about every little detail?  I dry embossed this houndstooth pattern with my Cuttlebug embossing folder, and then spread a layer of White Crackle Paint. I'm not entirely patient, so I zapped it with my heat gun to dry.

I also used the Claudine Helmuth Red Paint over a piece of Sticky Back Canvas and set that aside to dry. Once dried, I cut out a Die-namics Hearts a Plenty in the largest size, overstamped with the text print from Own Your Story and again, hit that Brilliance ink with my heat gun (I love the look of that ink, but eesh does it take forever and a day to dry.)

Te heart is stitched in place over the layer of crackle paint. For fun, I crackle painted one end of my cardbase and then wrapped the end with a bit of double stitched ribbon.  Three tiny buttons are hand stitched with a bit of Bakers Twine....and I added a Simply Scalllops trim in ivory felt.

I finished off the inside with the same supplies adding a sentiment from Clearly Sentimental about Father's

See, I'm all about multi-tasking and ssssh. Now I've got my hubby's Father's Day card complete.

Be sure to check the MFT Blog today for a full list of designers who have painted up a little something for you today!  Enjoy!

Happy Birthday Karen!

Happy Birthday Karen!

Please help me wish a very happy birthday to my sweet friend Karen Motz!  I'm *quite* sure you already read her ADORABLE blog Paper Playhouse and if you don't oh my goodness you are missing out, she makes the ca-uuuutest things!  Be sure to swing by over to her blog today and leave her a little birthday wish!  I've got to say that I am SO blessed to have her in my life, she is one of the sweetest and most thoughtful friends a girl could ask for.

((((hugs))))) girlie you're the greatest!

To celebrate Miss Karen's Birthday (that's what my kids call her...) today I'm making my second card of the month with Jen's Sketch for You to Try!  This is such a fun layout that I was excited to dig into it again.

and since Karen and I were introduced by the Bella herself at Stamping Bella... of course I had to make a Stamping Bella themed birthday card - right? (Thanks Emily!)  ....You might also remember that Stamping Bella is the sponsor of this month's SFYTT challenge....

I do love those sweet Turtle Tots so I'm always excited anytime I get an occasion to grab my green markers and get going.  I've given the chocolate cake a coating of Glossy Accents for a really sugary frosting and a quick puff of liquid applique for the pom pom on the hat.

Patterned papers are the My Mind's Eye Lime Tart paper pad. Cute cute stuff in that collection!

Be sure to add YOUR sample to Jen's SFYTT post - this year Jen has one new sketch a month, and if you complete all twelve, you're eligible for a prize!  Here's a little reminder on the details.....

1. The SKETCH FOR YOU TO TRY {SFYTT} will be posted on the first Saturday of each month on www.iheart2stamp.com at 8am EST and will stay open to participants until the last day of the month, unless otherwise noted.
2. This is for fun! Interpret the sketch as you wish and embellish as desired. There are no vendor restrictions, but we would love to see you use the sponsor’s stamps!
3. Each month we will have a Designer of the Month that will be chosen from past month’s participants.

Wednesday Stamp Club - a quiet moment in a CRAZY week!

Oh. My. Goodness. What a week! Its been a blast - but a total whirlwind preparing for this week's release at My Favorite Things. Combined with a FULL ON PANIC of the things that need to get done before school gets out. Well, I'm sort of a hot mess.

Thank goodness for the Wednesday Stamp Club to be there when I need a minute of peace and quiet right?  I had one more card to complete for my little girl scout friend, so here she is.  Pure Innocence Girl Scout combined with My Mind's Eye Lime Twist paper.

I'm going to be brief and to the point today....  because the to do list is long and growing!

Be sure to throw YOUR hat in for the MFT Wednesday Stamp Club sketch challenge, after all there is a prize given away each week!

MFT's June SHOP HOP!

Welcome to the MFT New Release SHOP HOP!

It has been such a fun week sharing all the latest stamps and Die-namics from the MFT New Release!  Tonight all of us on the Design Team, along with our Guest Designer Jenny Peterson have a little something special to share with you using an element of the new release.

If you didn't start at the MFT Blog then be sure to start all the way at the top - you don't want to miss a single stop on tonight's hop! .....After all, one of us is a secret blog candy holder...... So, be sure to leave a little love on each of the posts tonight, just in case.

I'm tickled pink to have a Pure Innocence to share with you!  This is Pure Innocence: My Little Firecracker!  As a little girl, I always loved those fancy smocked dresses. I was girly, girly when I was little (shocker right)  and there is this store on Nantucket that always has the most beautiful dresses for the fourth of July.  I paper pieced this little dress for the Fourth using October Afternoon 5 and Dime.

If this layout looks familiar to you, its because I used it in my Pure Innocence teaser on Sunday.  I actually made *this* card first, then liked the layout so much I re-created it for the other one.  I'm sneaky like that.

I added a little star with the Die-namics Stacking Star die.    This little cutie pie is wearing a pair of red patent leathers thanks to a few coats from my clear glaze pen.

The next stop on tonight's hop is FRANCES and I'm sure she's got something
super fun to share with you tonight!  That girl is ONE busy stamper!
Be sure to wish her a happy tomorrow - she's always a day ahead of us over there in Australia!

Tonight's the Night! MFT's June Release

Hello everyone! Tonight's the night - we've been teasing you with products from our June release at My Favorite Things,  this evening at 10pm EST. Today I've got two previews for you. One is featuring Who's That Girl this time in Enjoy the Ride.  She was part of our mid month VIP kit, and I love her, she's just like me!

Over the last two years, I've really loved bike rides with the family.  On Monday, for my hubby's birthday I booked us on a bike tour through the city - it was 10 miles of sight seeing and actually riding on the city streets - eeks!  But we also got to pedal along the Charles River, right past Fenway Park - and past the hotel where we had our reception, past the building where we met, and past my old apartment.  Sigh. Many happy memories!  So, if you're ever in Boston, I *highly* recommend Urban Adventours!

For today's preview, I drew in the sidewalk/bike path and then drew in some grass too.  Patterned paper is a mix of Lily Bee Happily Lost and some scraps from my scrap bin (the print paper and the houndstooth are from the food old scrap bin)

I also have a preview from our Triple Scoop set of the month Clearly Sentimental About the Journey.  The Triple Scoop policy has been revised since last month, so here's a little bit of information for you....

Our Triple Scoop reward is a full-sized stamp set offered to you absolutely free with a qualifying purchase of $60 or greater (before shipping and tax).

The set changes with each monthly release, and is not yet available for individual purchase, so there is always a good reason to spoil yourself with MFT!
  • Simply add the Triple Scoop product to your cart using the "add to cart" button, and it will be shipped with your order.
  • Digital products are excluded and do not count toward your purchase for rewards.
  • You must add the Triple Scoop product to your cart or it will not be included with your order.
I had lots of fun getting a little scrappy with this card!  I do love love love the new Leafy Flourish Die-namics.  I've chopped it in half here and tucked both pieces behind a canvas Pretty Posies Die-namicsYou'll also see just the top half of a Open Scallop Doily Die-namics peeking out...goodness, I almost forgot to mention my dear friend Simply Scallops Medium Die-namics across the bottom.  See, they all like to play together, don't leave any of them behind! *wink*

Here is the shape of the new Leafy Flourish Die-namics. I'm pretty sure you'll love it as much as I do already, it is just the perfect compliment to all the flowers that I adorn my projects with.

Okay, I expect to see you all at the MFT New Release Cocktail Party - tonight over on THIS THREAD Splitcoast Member Company Forum.  Study up on your new product knowledge, because there will be contest questions!

June Teaser Time Day Four: Rainbow Die-namics

Oh my goodness, am I ever so excited about one of the products we're sharing on Teaser Time today!  I sure do love my Cloud Die-namics and now I've got this fabulous Rainbow Die-namic to pair with it!

Here's a few fun tips about this amazing Die-namic!
    • This Die-namic will cut seven arcs for the rainbow that will line up perfectly! Sure I've made them before myself by tediously painstakingly cutting circles, and then nesting other circles inside of that but boo-hiss, who has time for THAT? And um, no mater how I tried, they didn't fit together precisely.  And um, I'm sort of prone to things being done with precision. *giggle*
    • Don't feel like using all of the seven arcs - that's cool too - I've used only five here...
    • The rainbow is also sized perfectly to coordinate with either of our cloud Die-namics!
My amazing friend Jody has a fabulous tip about building your rainbow - she's um, only a creative genius!  Be sure to check out her post today for all the details!

I only had to decide what to cut my rainbow from, felt?  solid cardstock? pattern paper?  I chose this fun pattern paper pack from Pink Paislee.  I didn't do the traditional ROYGBIV (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet) thing and went crafty using the colors in the paper pack.

My sentiment is "You're Awesome" from More Essential Sentiments  and I've paired it with the Flat Bottom Clouds Die-namics cut from felt. What kiddo wouldn't love to find this in their lunchbox?

Be sure to stop by the MFT Blog today for a full list of designers participating in previews today. We've got teasers today, and tomorrow, and then woo-hoo its time for the release Tuesday night at 10pm EST.  How's that shopping list coming - so many amazing things this month!

Pure Innocence Teaser Time - Popping By

I don't know how they do it, but every month, those Pure Innocence stamps get cuter and cuter!  I had SO stinkin' much fun working on this project.

Knowing that I wanted to have a red and white striped popcorn bucket, I dug through my paper bins for inspiration. And was SO excited when I decided on the Echo Park For the Record line.  I haven't used much of it, but it turned out to be *exactly* what I needed for this little cutie-pie.

If you're paper piecing this little sweetie, then you'll want to stamp out an "extra" set of hands along with her popcorn box and little soda cup.  Otherwise, these pieces aren't properly sitting on top, they end up sunken beneath her shirt.  It takes an extra moment or two, but TRUST me when I say these are the little extras that make your finished project simply perfect!

Goodness gracious! Have you SEEN this fun new Die-namics die Mini Film Strip Border.

It is not totally perfect for this stamp set, or for scrapbooking, or for our WTG Chick Flick set? And *squeal* hooray for the largest in our Simply Scallops series!  This size graces a 5 1/4 square card nicely don't you think?

Most of all this sweet illustration, isn't she just stinkin' cute?  Oh, how I love PI!

To make my little sentiment panel, I cut a small white circle from both white cardstock and from a black and white polka doted cardstock, then a slightly larger circle from only black.  I stamped the sentiment to the bottom of the circle, then trimmed a small piece of the polka dot for the top half and then zig-zag stitched them together.   Fun! I think you'll be seeing that one a lot.  I like it.  Be warned. *giggle*

Be sure to stop by the MFT Blog today for a full list of designers participating in previews today!  There are FIVE teasers up for previews today!

    just a little .... SFYTT!

Good morning everyone! I'm so excited that Jen del Muro asked me to play along this month as her Designer of the Month in June Sketch for You to Try! If you've been reading here a long time, then you surely know I'm a fan.

With the new format, there is ONE new sketch each month, and a big prize is available at random to ONE lucky person that completes all twelve challenges. I'm happy to say that I've done all the sketches so far, so I'm now officially HALFWAY there! Woo-hoo!

Here is this week's sketch and I had so much fun putting together a little sample for you with this month's sponsor STAMPING BELLA!

Lucky girl that I am, I used to design for Stamping Bella and let me say, I ADORE her images. And of course I {heart} Emily too. ..... its just that there just aren't enough hours in the day for all the stamping gigs I'd *like* to take on..... So, I was super excited to pull out my Bella-Bindahs full of stamps and see which one was just right for this sketch.....

I was feeling a little Twinkle Toes-ish and that sweet little Huggabugg hadn't seen ink yet... Pattern paper is My Mind's Eye and all my accents are kraft - lotsa lotsa stitching and a big old fluffy bow.

Be sure to stop by Jen's Blog and submit your entry into this month's SFYTT and be sure to visit all of the SFYTT sistah's today to see what they've put together with this fun and fabby sketch!

    4. Come and play with us on each and every sketch! On Christmas Day 2011 a prize package worth over $200 will be given away to one very lucky and loyal SFYTT stamper that participates in EVERY sketch for the year.
    5. To be eligible for the prize package, you must complete ALL of the sketches by each of the deadlines AND link your creation to the link system on that month’s sketch post (the first Saturday of the month). Everyone except for SFYTT Sisters are eligible for the prize package, including Designer of the Month and international players.
    6. When posting your sketch creation on your blog, please post the sketch and link back to the sketch post on www.iheart2stamp.com. When posting to online galleries, please use the keyword “SFYTT.”

    Introducing MFT's Pretty Pocket!

I know, for sure, that I'm not alone when I tell you that I'm always scrambling at the last minute to make cards for my boys friend's birthdays.  Right?

It usually goes something like this. "Oh my goodness, so and so's birthday party is tomorrow and I don't have a card!" (I've usually had a similar panic attack about the gift a few days prior to this...) and then I sit with my guys and figure out which stamp set they'd like me to use. And well, let's be honest, my style is too girly for them.

And as my boys get older, its a little harder to pick the right gift for their friends.  In the past, I've always known their friends moms really well, and knew what their favorite toys were.  But as their kids get bigger, I don't always know the moms...  they're school friends.  And its harder to know what toys these boys might already have at home, so we don't duplicate.  And I know my two LOVE gift cards. Being able to go to the Lego store and pick out their very own present, or to Barnes and Noble to buy their own books.  So.... Pretty Pocket to the rescue!  Only, on this sample, I didn't go "pretty" for my pocket.

I cut the pocket from this fun Bo Bunny patterned paper that is jean-ish, and then stamped the sets of stitching marks.  And used my distress inks to rough up all the edges.  I *adore* the tiny tag that is part of this Die-namics.  There are bunches and bunches of sentiments, I selected "hello" for today's project.  A Dainty Dots strip and some Bakers Twine are my only accents - save for a lot of stitching.

Easy peasy, a pocket front card, just great for a little tucked gift you know, like the green stuff, a gift card, or a little note.  I know this one will be replicated again and again for birthdays! Heck, my crafty boys might even be able to replicate pieces of this with limited assistance! (sweet.)

but, since its called the Pretty Pocket,
I thought I might give it another whirl and show a totally different sample....

Using the Die-namics Pretty Pocket I cut the pocket from a piece of canvas.  (note: I have a Vagabond so it will cut canvas... but I'm not *positive* you can do that with other machines, you'd have to investigate for yourself....) and I cut the little tab on the side out of kraft paper.   Using Brilliance Ink, I stamped the stitch marks, and then the adorable scribble heart.  As a mom of boys, I don't get to buy those embellished embroidered jeans.... but I sure can craft them.

I colored the center of the heart with my R85 Copic and then reached for my pink embroidery floss and a needle.  I simply stitched over all of the stamp marks, fully covering the stamped portion of the heart.  (My only caution would be not to pull too tightly, I seem to have puckered the fabric just a little bit.)
I didn't go too crazy with the layout, just a little mixed stitching and a cappucinno twine bow.  The pocket is popped up on foam tape so that you could use it as an enclosure - maybe a gift certificate to a nail salon?

One of my favorite features of this set is the tiny tab and all the fun little sentiments you can use to personalize your project.  Fun times!
